Thanks for always being honest with us Tati! I seriously think you're the only youtuber who always keeps it real and gives her HONEST review. You see some girls saying "they're perfect, perfect quality, favorite maple lip ever!!" but in reality thats not the case, they're drying and flaky.

What?? I loove the ones i have!! Posie K is a bit patchy sometimes, but I dont feel like theyre extremely drying, and they last foreveeeeeer and are completely transferproof! My favorite liquid lipstick formula of all the ones ive tried 😊

For many of them, she referred to her experiences when wearing them on her lips. She also mentioned that she's been playing with them for weeks. I doubt any of her opinions are based solely on hand swatches.

I tried a lot of them on my lips and to be honest swatching them all on your lips kind of really hurts your lips a bit. I don't really blame her too much for it just cuz its kind of damaging.

Wow! I'm super shocked on how quality wise, Jeffree Stars liquid lipsticks are better than Kylie's liquid lipsticks. I don't understand why she would put out cheap quality

Kylie doesn't even do her own makeup, she has makeup artists doing her own makeup and I feel like that reflects on the quality of her makeup, because it's not genuine like Jefree who actually works hard on the quality of his makeup and wants to provide the best products to his customers.
Keep in mind, it's all about making as much money as possible for everyone involved. They are in business to make money, not friends!
You would do the same if you were loving that millionaire life, when you have money you alwaus want more so obviously she wont care about the quality just the bussines either way everyone is going to buy her lupsticks
+Cloverfairyfhll Actually, no I wouldn't do the same thing. There is such a thing as values and ethics that would always come first for me personally. I got my degree in business management and I can tell you that it is always a mistake to go for the "quickest buck" without caring about long term retention of a customer base. Also, excellent customer service is a must, like Nordstroms! Soon, her company will start experiencing mass returns resulting in a tarnished reputation. Money's not everything!

No she has not. She mentioned how great it was redrum in her WTF series guerlain gold primer, and then, when she did faves and hates on liquid lipsticks (or was it a top five? don't remember) she talked about them again but she only had 2 shades I think. I would like to see her to try a lot more shades, just cause jeffree now has a lot more variety of nudes and I'm sure Tati will love them! But I would looove her to do not just a video of Jeffree's liquid lipsticks but a Jeffree Star Hot or Not, reviewing more lipsticks, highlighters and the Beauty Killer palette!

You should watch Stephanie Nicole's video on the Kylie lipkits. She basically "discovers" that the new formula is Colourpop. They're both made from the same lab. She goes in depth with that.

I think Tati did have different reviews for each one because some of her lip kits are from the new batch (repackaged Colourpop) and some were from the original kits (the ones with the wonky wands).

You know how you said you had to look everywhere for those liquid lipsticks? Maybe you got fake ones? I saw how you got a lip pencil with no label and how you say they're drying so idk. I hope you didn't! Try ordering from the site just one more time and see if the formulas are the same. Love you Tati!
I have Posie K and it is VERY drying. I don't think she got fake ones. I think the lip pencil without the label was a fail on the manufacture which happens.
And I don't think they're worth spending all that money on them a 2nd time. The lip kits with the lip pencils are $41 after the tax and shipping is applied.
I ordered mine and they were amazing!! So when I ordered them to gift to my sister- they were not the same color! All from the authentic website- I mean I waited right by the computer up to the minute of when they were up for sale to grab them. But maybe it was when they were fixing things! BUT I also have to say- I still liked the second color :)
I have the shade 22 and bought it from the website and it is exactly how Tati described. It crumbles off so badly which is unfortunate because the color looks amazing on my skin tone.
I've read 100s of reviews but man :/ this lipstick is just not good. cons beat the pros.

I do not understand why people think these are expensive? $29 is £20 (I'm from the UK). I'd say that a drugstore lipstick would cost around £6-£10 and a lipliner around the same, if a little less, so in total around £15, would be my guess. Not a lot less than these kits. A Mac combo of lipstick and liner would be around £27, and people willingly fling money at high end brands, so this seems like reasonable prices, especially considering that a lot of reviews I've seen have been great and the colours seem pretty unique.
I feel like a major part of people finding this expensive is the case that it's had pretty bad times, especially with the applicator. With MAC (though I don't like MAC.) you seem to be getting almost a better quality with application. It may just be the fact it's branded as Kylie's and Kylie is known for expensive things, so maybe people just think her expensive things somehow correspond with the liquid lipsticks? I personally think the colors are beautiful too, and I think they are fairly priced.

I ended up paying $40 once I had shipping and tax added up and for that price I could just go to a store and pick up two Kat Von D liquid lipsticks or even a high end lipstick like a YSL or Chanel. There's no way of avoiding the ridiculous shipping price which is why people say they're expensive. Plus the quality isn't up to par with most high-end lipsticks.
But for us in the UK It's an extra $15 shipping and then most people are being charged £20+ on custom charges. So no, £50 (ish) isn't worth a lip kit imo

While I have no problem with the price if it's a decent product, the cost that it would be in the UK or Europe isn't as straightforward as a simple currency conversion. If you take Mac lipsticks for example, they're about $20 Canadian dollars, so that would be about €14 with today's exchange rate, yet the retail cost in Europe is €20,50. So if the Kylie product was sold in the UK, you'd probably have to add another £7-8 at least on top of the currency conversion just to make up for duties/VAT. That would be if you're buying it from a UK retailer...I'm assuming it's much more expensive if ordered from the US due to shipping and duties.

Okay, so there's this line from the Sephora collection, their satin lip creams- so nice. They're not drying and honestly, they dry more matte than satin. Shade number 13 is a super close match to Dolce K and the **slight** color difference makes it more wearable for fairer skin tones.
It's sort of in between Koko K and Dulce K.

With how expensive these products are they should be 100% perfect. I understand that formulas wear differently for everyone but I have seen many product reviews with the same remarks about the consistency. Loved the dupes that you suggested!

I have kourt k and I honestly loved it. The formula is so light weight on the lips and feels comfortable as well. I have seen mixed reviews on the Kylie Lip Kit. I felt the product was good but the price is absolutely ridiculous! 😥

Hie Stacey! I understand what you are trying to say. I bought it because I really wanted to try it out. I bought it last month since it was my birthday and I wanted to gift myself something. I personally have no regrets buying it since i'm trying to find similar shades here in India for my Indian viewers. :)

I agree with you Tati. The Jeffree Star velour liquid lipsticks are the best. I never really liked liquid lipsticks until I tried his. I haven't tried this one yet (because it's always out of stock :( ) but Jeffree's Dominatrix might be a dupe for True Brown if anyone's interested. :)

I must have gotten a bad batch. I had red rum & I HATED it. for me it was so watery it leaked into my teeth when I applied it. it was also patchy, smelled so bad like chemicals and when it leaked onto my teeth I could taste the chemical smell :(
