Who said, that anyone over sixty should cover up? Well, I’m over 80 and I proudly wear my bikini and when I go to diner I wear my skinny jeans and leather jacket. So, thanks dear heart for fighting the good fight for us “vintage” women.

Funny with this Covud stuff how distant we've become from one another. My Mum died during lockdown and a nurse in the home hugged me...I was so grateful for that human contact. Great video, even though I'm watching it several years on. Thank you.

Thank you for showing us London. I loved how you took your brother to task about wearing his hat at the table. It's usually the younger generation who do not worry about this rule. No matter what your age you wear whatever you like as there are all shapes and sizes in all age brackets! You looked fantastic in all of your outfits! 😍
Suzi, I have a friend who in her mid twenties, after having her babies, had skin that was so stretched out that she was worse than four seventy year olds put together! I did feel sorry for her, but she had no inhibitions whatsoever! I look back now to those days and wished I had been more like her. But now I am coming up to seventy very soon……. I don’t care! I moved out of East London back in 1979, miss the old town terribly, every time I go back I can smell the pollution nearer and nearer to Cambridge. I remember when some places were the pits they are now very desirable, how things change. As for age and clothes, if you like it and you’re comfortable wear it, regardless of colour, style, length etc. I’ve seen ladies of 70/80’s going topless on the beaches they aren’t ashamed, nice to be proud of our bodies still.

Life is too short and if Covid has taught me any thing it is “ don’t sweat the small stuff “ That is a great little book that everyone should read and author is Richard Carlson. I also remember being on holiday in Portugal and seeing women in their late 70’s and 80’s going topless ! Live and let live if they are not hurting anyone . 💕

I visited Jersey a few years ago and came across a church with the most wonderful Lalique glass throughout, there’s an interesting story connecting Lalique and Jesse Boot (founder of the chemists), which is how it all came about. Do investigate (it’s called St. Matthew’s) and if you happen to find yourself nearby it’s well worth a visit. Look forward to your vlogs when you get back.
