The un-pronounceable guest house on Skye is known as the Dutch House and has lots of bedrooms ensuite.
The shop with the amazing view is on the main area for littlle shops.

So Beautiful, I had an elderly neighbor who always spoke so highly of the Isle of Skye she had been born there and had come to Canada as a young woman when I knew her she was in her late 70's and lived across the hall from me. It is just as beautiful as she had spoken of thank you so much for sharing those beautiful views, and sorry you and your travelling companion got off to a bit of a rough start. Happy Sunday, Happy weekend and the sweaters are just lovely my fav was the blue one.
As a Southern Californian, I love seeing vlogs like this where the climate and scenery are so beautifully different. I went to Scotland (Glasgow, Edinborough and Inverness) decades ago and loved the people and the GREEN everywhere :)

I am moving to Scotland and I'm very interested in learning Gaelic, so will spend time in the Outer Hebrides. This really helps! Shetland is where my father was born, in Viewforth, in Lerwick. Fun stuff.
I love your videos. The views are spectacular. I get the car thing, but as a person with a disability, I need to do a shout out here......... if I didnt use my car I would be totally unable to enjoy any beautiful countryside, which so many other people are able to take for granted that they can access. I am inspired to go there if I can drive around and enjoy the scenery xxx

Lovely to see you again 🤗 Skye is somewhere I remember fondly from many moons ago. I toured the highlands back in the 1980’s and hand fed chaffinches by a loch. Very quiet and other worldly,seems to have got very much busier! Thankyou for sharing your trip with us 💛🏴

Lovely Suzi. The Scottish Highlands and Islands are my favourite place in the world. However, I rely on a car to get me around as I have a number of conditions which mean my mobility is not so good. I would love to be able to walk everywhere like you do, but sadly it’s not possible. Sometimes people need to take their cars x

Inverness is my nearest city 💖. It takes me 5 hours to get there and I do it by Ferry and Bus ..spend 3 hours in the city and then back home .. it’s so lovely

thanks for posting. IMO the cream sweater looked MUCH better with the jeans than the blue one. blue sweater would look good with dark washed or black jeans to provide a little more contrast between the blues. just a thought! anyway, enjoyed your vlog, Scotland looked beautiful.

In your previous vlog you commented on people making rude comments about what you're wearing. The cream sweater looked perfect with your outfit (so one of us has made a rude comment). Wonderful to see Scotland. In elementary school I remember singing a song & one of the phrases was, 'speed Bonnie boat like a bird on the wing over the sea to Skye.'

If you go to Pollock Country Park in Glasgow, they have a herd of Highland Cows. You can also visit The Burrell Collection and Pollock House. For your next trip.

I've been watching a lot of the younger generation and although I do love their videos similar to yours, I really wanted to find one more my age, (60ish) and I LOVE your humor and banter, and down to earth personalities. Just what I needed to see this morning. I'm American and Scotch-Irish, and English (partly), and so want to come to Scotland and Northern Ireland etc, to see where my ancestors lived and I know I would just fall in love with everything.
