You should consider having more ads in your videos. I never understand the CZcams filmmaking community not wanting to sit through an ad of someone offering FREE information such as yourself. Such a cheap community that ironically..... loves to complain about cheap clients. As you grow, you'll be leaving some money on the table if you don't. Goals are: 1. Shoot more 2. New Mac Studio loadout I'm running DR18 on a 2014 iMac. It actually works fine but can be frustratingly slow once VFX comes around. And I want to pay for it in cash like you. 3. Network way more than last year
What cart are you looking at? I have my eyes on one also! I felt the same and felt like I am too blah for camera. But content is king, just get stuff uploaded.

Really happy for you and your successful 2023! I fully agree that investing in yourself, your well-being and your hobbies should not be underestimated. I have so many younger colleagues who work tirelessly and will most likely end up burned-out before they realize they can't keep that going for another year, let alone 30 to 40 years. So I try to teach them that it's okay to take time for yourself, have a day off if you don't feel like working, spend some quality time with friends and family. Somewhat contrary to that, my goal in 2024 (since you asked) is to move to a new region and work on establishing new connections. I've been working for 14 years as a solo freelancer and I feel like I'm stuck in a rut, so it's time for me to change things up. New city, new clients, new outlooks, new investments maybe (finally!), and I'm happy to say that your videos have helped inspire me to do that. So I want to thank you for making awesome videos, sincerely! 😎
Thank you! I have done it for 10 years straight and had to put a stop to it. My clients get time off and so should I. Answering an email at 10pm should not be happening. They can wait until morning. That is a big move, but can cone with great reward. The markets shift in areas and you can totally mix things up in a new city. I look forward to hearing how it goes! Dude I feel you on the burn out....I just got over a double dose of covid and flu at the same time and I just can't get back into it. Like I feel like the creative part of me died the last month with being sick. Not to mention I work solo and I have started realizing how it's so much work doing everything alone and just kinda lonely. I dunno, thanks for the video I enjoy your content a lot.
We all feel it! There are days where I feel like my creative battery is at 0%. I’m backed up on edits I have little motivation to do and there is blah for work. But where many quit, we need to push on. We are not quitters! I feel the same with this channel. Bust my tail for a few views. It almost seems pointless. Dude I love this video. Its just such a god content for filmmakers and business owners. My goal for 2024 is to earn at least extra 1500euro more every month and land 5k project. I am working full time in marketing so extra cash is a plus. But big goal is to get enough long term contracts to earn more than I do now and quite that job.
