These things are great however i would always but used. I got meself a YT capra, with 170mm travel, dt swiss e1900 wheelset, Lyrik rct3 fork, monarch rct3 shock, oneup edc, full raceface cockpit, 170mm dropper and steezy paintjob for the princely sum of 700 quid. I know some people aren’t confident in buying used, but i cannot face the spec that i’d miss out on!!
I feel like the specialized chisel comp is missing! Even lower weight than the rockhopper still under 1500$. Fastest bike for the money hands down.
I had an Orbea Laufey to get me started on trails and last year I switched the frame to a Ragley Big Wig 😍

I bought my first modern mtb last year and I'm just now starting to realize how good of a deal it was.
The hardtail that i got was a Mb31 royal from Allebike.
Fully spect with deore parts, a 120mm ks dropper, 140mm rockshox revelation fork, dt swiss m1900 wheelset and Perrelli scorpion tires all for the price of 10.000 SEK. (750£)
got a ragley mmbop 2.0 for £650 last year with decent spec

The voodoo bazango is really the best option for budget mtb option, without spending a lot of time scouring the market for a budget custom build,.
As they said, With excellent components, and great frame, it's hard to argue with at this price. And tubeless tyres are a lot more reliable. BIG BONUS.

The whyte looks like a thing of beauty with its colourway and gumball tyres.
Beyond that, Unfortunately, bike radar have contradicted themselves with the specialized rockhopper!

I'd be all for the industry agreeing on an industry standard for internal cable routing.
So PLEASE make it easier, for heavens sake! ☹️☹️😡😡
