Ed 80,000 unique players is very surprising. The method of using current active players to determine potential monthly unique users, while floored, probably isn't too far off the mark. Current active players is a snapshot in time where different players will cycle through based on time zones. However, a lot of these current players will also play the game multiple times during the month. Thus balancing the underestimate of a snapshot with the overestimate of a single play. I'd agree 80k unique players would be a comfortable top 20 RTS game.
Edd, you should really learn to build units when you have the pop and the money. You would watch your entire army get wasted away before you start building units and some of those battles would last a few minutes. That's enough time to have a new army out by then. Also, You went the entire game without a full pop (until the end) when you had several opportunities. it's a lil aggravating is all and those things will cost you games.
