Season 11 has begun and it is time to get down to business starting our Tarkov challenge and get a move on to getting those Riches in Escape from Tarkov. I like watching Halfman, simply because he knows his shit enough for me to learn a lot, while at the same time not be a sweaty gamer who just blows through every raid.
so the guy you fought in woods at the beginning, he was be-hide the tree when he killed you. however the muzzle flash was left of the tree..... Bad case of desnyc??
Hey Halfman, great to see your Tarkov series back again.. you are my favourite because I love the way you talk about your thought process and really take the viewers on a journey with you. Regarding that, it would be really great if you could include more stash/hideout time.. whenever you're making decisions and can talk about your thoughts I would appreciate that. Feels very much like you think if it's not in raid, then it's boring.. but that's not the case. If you die, how are you selecting your loadout, what do you buy and why etc. All of that is more interesting than watching the 5th filing cabinet being searched in raid, well to me at least. Kinda nitpicking here, your vids are really good already. Thanks for making them!
It's not that I find the stash and hideout boring, more of time management. I looked at my old videos and a lot of times it was 20 minutes plus inside of the stash. However, after episode 10, I will be tweaking the QoL with the stash to show off gun builds, upgrades, etc. During editing

As an example this episode it would have been interesting to hear how you decided to go with a uzi, though I am assuming it was just a cash poor consequence, but I don't really know because I don't play myself. Did a few dozen SPT hours but kept getting stuffed on lighthouse and it wasn't fun so I stopped. Playing vicariously though your videos now... thanks again for all the effort you put into creating them.

I like the new Loot mechanic and the stash movement. Just wish that they would still have the same number of stashes just mix the locations up.
Wonder if you could shares to use what gunsmith build you made on the guns for the intro or whenever you get into new raid?
I'll definitely try to remember showing off the gun before or after the raid

I know rubles are a bit of a luxury right now, but a red dot sight on the Uzi makes it 100x better - maybe just me, but that iron sight is cluuuunky

Talking about ABI here again, just went into Armory(don't know if you know of that map, minimum of 100k loot value to play it, costs 20k to queue) FINALLY after having all that gear fear. Almost died but came out alive in the end, got some decent stuff. Saying it here again, don't think I could ever do that on EFT. I also wanted to point out that if you're confused on the level an AI or person is at, it might be impossible to tell until they fix that issue, "vertical" audio is effed right now.
You can actually really build out the uzi at lvl 1 without flea, your able to out a longer barrel, a built in grip, and a picatini rail for a 1x sight it’s pretty good and has like no recoil plus it’s got a decent fire rate, the other versions are so much better though they have a faster fire rate and about the same recoil

The shot that killed you around 25:35 could have been someone mounted alongside a tree as cover...... new mechanic this wipe with the mounting to improve being exposed while shooting?!?

Oh actually this wipe don't climb under trains, near rock or under things, u get stuck there. 2 of my buddies got stuck and we had to kill them. 1 got stuck on customs under the train and one on usec camp on woods where u get the valuable items wanted to get the golden chain and was left there forever 😂😂

But you could have always went to the guys stream and looked at his POV he was probably live since he had like 8k hours and TTV in his name
Yah, it was just a bit strange cause I was angling my body towards the right of the tree and expect for him to swing right from his perspective.

On this episode of Halfmans Bizarre Adventures!!
ACT 1: Scav Village duel
- Coming to the Woods from a old sawmill area, Halfman looted some boxes if he could find something useful. But non has found. So he moved towards the Village. There is certainly something he could use. At least food.. Even tho it would be a bit expired and moldy.
- On village Halfman went to the one of the 2 story buildings to find something. Until he heard loud gun shots. And saw a PMC in woods. Halfman tried to get him on his sight but no chance. So he had to move to another building. Hopeing he could ambush him at the tool shed, On waiting Halfman heard something unusual. Sound of metal, he looked around the roofs he could see. Until he stepped outside. And noticed PMC on roof atop of him. Blasting him with full mag worth of ammo he dropped down like a duck in duck hunt NES game.
- Looting the PMC he found some better armor and MDR 5.56 which would prove to be useful later on. After looting he started to loot rest of the village and then hit the road in Car Extract.
ACT 2: Strolling in a magical Woods
- Coming back to Woods at mountain side towards the village, he started to loot empty village for some valuables what he could find. Found some granades, ammo and food. After looting the village really empty he start walking towards Scav Base.
- Walking in woods Halfman felt refreshing rain at his face. Until he got interrupted by a Scav. Watching him... Menecely... Or maybe he was just thinking he could make a good friend with a Halfman. But better be safe than sorry and he send that poor bastard in hell with a shot of a 5.45.. Moving on towards the convoy and USEC base. Arriving to lost convoy he heard gunshots towards USEC base. So he got curios and started to investigate those.. While Tarkov region is testing his sanity.. (Guys im thinking he is losing it. He is starting to be paranoid)
- Arriving on USEC base he encountered a fellow USEC player trying to heal. But its too late for him. He suffered the wrath of the Halfman for murdering his fellow kind. After looting he encountered one more foe. A cultist. But unfortunetly he got shot in the head.. Welp time to get back to therapist. I think she can find some sort of a way to reconstruct his head and brains.
ACT 3: In the Woods again
- Coming back to the Wood. Halfman encountered a PMC aaaaaand he got killed.. Ou Therapist! We are coming back again for your care..!
ACT 4: Custom Gangsta
- Arriving to Customs. Testing out a new Peacekeeper product UZI, they say it so smooth and easy to use it that child can use it. And they do.. Or people in 80's used these a lot for shady businesses. And they might do in this day and age.. At least here in Tarkov Region. He found a body in a bushes which had a key for future task, but no time for that! Got to get in to 3 story dorms to get key for a oil truck. There is something that Prapor wants to have.
- Getting the key from a dorms and leavening fast as possible and heading towards the truck. He noticed that it was already opened. So key was useless. But at least he found the thing that Propar was looking for, on way towards Crack House. He find some meds that Halfman could use later on. And after noticing that this location is started to get too hot. Halfman leggit towards extraction. And got away.
ACT 5: Shopping spree
- After relaxing at Hideout and giving the pocket watch for Prapor. Halfman grab his UZI again and went to Interchange. On outside of the interchange it was night and heading towards the shopping mall. Getting inside of the mall by loading dock / storage area. He started his shopping spree of looting anything he can see.
- Looking around some tool boxes and shelves he found a lot of stuff he could use at hideout, he moved towards the food section. He heard suppressed gunshots on 2 shelves front of him. Halfman find the killer and gave him short burst from a UZI. Wounding him severely. But managed to run away. Halfman waited if that PMC was stupit enough to try again but he did not came back. So its clear for now to loot some food and bodies. Until he got ambushed by Scavs. But luckily Halfman was ready and his trusty UZI was loaded.
- Dispatching the Scavs he looted some food and gear from dead scavs and shelves. He decided that this is enough to get extracted and left the shopping mall. And towards the Power Plant.
- In power plant. He encountered a scav who was minding his business. Exchanging some fire. Halfman got away via a vehicle extraction. Leaving that Scav licking his own wounds.

If i may ask Halfman. Is this season going to contain Ref tasks / EFT Arena content.
PS: That short woods raid was really sus indeed. But it could be also that he used peakers advantage. And yes.. Devs really should fix the audio. Its being issue for years and every time they do something they will screw it up one way or a another. Hell even in Dark And Darker (DnD.. My kind of Dungeons and Dragons) they have managed to do not screw up audio xD But then again most of the game is indoors. But awesome episode by far. And i can relate on you in UZI. Its smooth. But it really needs a optic. Luckily Mechanic has pic rails on sale at lv 1.
You are playing too fast like its PvE, dont just relly on winning the gunfight and just expose yourself less, as little as possible like the dude in the tree, it was sus but I think he really just has a tiny tiny angle on you. If you play more tacticaly and use cover properly that is what the enemy player will see of you. It is a tactical shooter afterall. Even though running and gunning works a lot of times I find I have much better results playing very carefully. You sometimes do get tactical and preemptively aim for the right spots but I can see you get lazy. You cant do all the tactical stuff all the time, mut you have to be more disciplined in PvP. Dont cross windows too, crouch, avoid them. Just lie prone more in the vegetation, if you are prone in the grass and the othe dude is standing you win 8/10 times.
Slowly down the gameplay for sure helps a lot, think my brain likes the go go go, but I'll do my best to calm it down ;)
@@Halfman One IRL tip from my concript service in Brazil I can give you that works nicely in Tarkov is that, when you are in dense vegetation just go prone and crawl for a bit. MASSIVE ADVANTAGE! Also, never just cross a road without taking some 20s to look arround for possible enemy camp spots (Windows are an easy spot, but especialy be awere of bushes and vegetation) Its like playing hide and seek, if you move in a way where you cant see much in front of you then odds are the enemy cant see you eighter... And also an ingame tip is that if you are at close range and the enemy doesnt see you like that raid when you got domed dont wait too much for the perfect shot, just give the dude a nice burst to the body, he wont die but he will be at a very big disadvantage and will have the time pressure to heal or at least pop pk, then just pick your moment to rush in and finish him.
idk i think having fun in the computer game is better than forcing tacticool gameplay, i like how halfman is playing now
@@marcusstately you can have a nice balance in tarkov, no need to be a snail eighter, im all for fun... Its just I see halfman getting frustrated because he dies a lot and that is the cause. Dude has played so much he just goest straight for the loot so quickly he forgets to be tactical. Thats killing him a lot for sure.
@@AlanTheBest97you make some valid points, however, the translation from real life to Tarkov is not as relevant as you would think. People have many play styles in this game, unpredictable play can mean all that time wasted checking your surroundings has gone to waste. Whereas, the goal in real life is to survive by all means.
