I love your video, I sent the link to my niece ( Denise Ferrari) she owns 2 used clothing store in Florida. Valhalla rising are high end thrift/ membership Shops where people rent clothes and then return them and then start the process all over again. my niece has collected many prom dresses and accessories ( through donations) and at both her shops she will be hosting a pre- prom night gala to enable under-privileged teens to pick out their prom dress. She wants these girls to be able to pick out something beautiful so that they feel the best on this special night. After sending her your video she has decided to help the young ladies alter the dresses to make them or their own.! Now the girls will get to pick out a prom dress and if they wish to adjust it or add trim! She and her staff will assist the teens that night after they picked out the dress to alter it and make it their own. She was wowed how you were able to change the dresses so much by such simple tips. Thank you again for the inspiration.

One of the reasons that I love you so much Gunner is that you're not afraid to give back you always go above and beyond that you pay attention that there are people that don't have a lot of money and a lot of girls do have to Thrift for their prom dresses and I think this tutorial of yours is marvelous if nothing else it'll get a lot of girls thinking about what they can do with their Thrift dress thank you, you're a scholar

My daughter goes to prom this weekend. She's wearing my prom dress that I wore in'98. Dark purple with a sheer overlay, covered in velvet sparkly flowers.

Stitch witch is amazing stuff. I have two different weights in my sewing box. I only fix things because I don't have your talent but I can hand sew a hem or use stitch witch. It is great for patching things in a pinch! Take a piece of material and attach it. That stuff has saved my rear many times.

If you live in a cold climate do NOT use hot glue, you will be embarrassed when the trim comes off while you are out in the cold!!
