- Interior design and decor styles come with rules, and some of those rules you need to BREAK! These are the common truths of home design that I don't only not agree with, I think they should be gone for good. Whether you're in the middle of redecorating, planning a renovation, or just not sure why your space isn't working, it may help to find these rules you're following... any maybe shouldn't be!

The pop of color will be the glass I collect. Only a purple door 😊 it will be a lot more cleaner than my old house. After not taking care of my old house since my husband died this new house will be taken care of. The style I want is boho but my son and sister can decide their rooms and bathrooms. Love thrift and antiques. No trends a timeless design 😊 faux plants need to be dusted.
That really makes me think, for our new construction home, how we will use each room, at what times of day, to answer the question of whether you need window treatments, or which kinds. Hmmm!
