      You would need to own the dynojet pv3 with a custom tune from us. You can purchase one on our website we can do the custom tuning and send the pv3 with a tune installed ready to go right out of the box. It will get you more horsepower and torque however we cannot control the traction control all that much. We can manipulate it a little bit but we cannot turn it off completely. Here's the link to our website shoot me an email so we can get in contact.
      Send me an email I'll make sure you got a discount to use on our website. Email address is below as well. In the email include your first and last name mention that you were commenting on CZcams and that you're subscriber to my CZcams channel. Also need to know the year make and model and any performance modifications you have done to the bike. I'll keep an eye out for your email

    Great times for a cold day. The trap speeds are pretty slow, especially hitting a 12.78second quarter - is there ways to increase top speed? Love the videos. Looking to get Treal exhaust, tune and I will probably just get a K & N filter versus intake - I like the stock look, even though your trike rocks.

    • @BLRTUNING
      @BLRTUNING  Před 3 lety +1

      We are working on alternatives to grab more top speed... as you may already know we are limited to the transmission itself. we just went to the drag strip again on Friday I haven't put a video up yet.. the guys over at treal performance were able to grab a 12.6 in the ¼ mile at this exact same drag strip and I was able to snag a 13.3.. they are testing out some new modifications that will hopefully be available to the public soon. we needed to leave my bike with the modifications that it has so we can see if there is a difference in top speed and quarter mile time. we found out Friday night that indeed the modifications that they have done have paid off big time. When you're ready for the custom tuning work please feel free to reach out to me.

    Looking at the trap speeds, and considering Joe is a lot lighter than you, you aren't faring badly. HP is a good indicator of the HP. Obviously where he is crushing you is mostly due to his lighter weight than "never miss a meal Bill", and the hookup of the drag tire. While it is impressive to see (and for times), at the end of the day, I don't it is too practical for the street. Sort of like running an extended swing arm or wheelie bars on a street motorcycle. Great if all you want to do is go in a straight line. Now if we had a turbo version of the Ryker, and it might be seriously fast (let's say running at least in the 10's) then maybe I'd consider it. While in the 12's is way better than stock, you definitely don't want to be taking on any sport bikes in a stoplight to stoplight race.
    Anyway love to see the improvement while I play and tinker at home with mine. The Treal parts are the best investment I've made so far to improve the performance of my Ryker.

    • @BLRTUNING
      @BLRTUNING  Před 3 lety

      Yes he is about 90 lb lighter with all his gear and me with all my gear...
      The drag tire works good at the track this we know.. nobody should be out riding their bike on the streets on a drag tire that would not be the ideal situation.. however compared to his times at the drag strip on the drag tire these new modifications that he's working on crushed those times... These new modifications are put to the market they will definitely increase the performance of the Can-Am ryker altogether.. we shall find out more information soon and it will get talked about.... Thanks for stopping by the channel have a great day...

      @@BLRTUNING I am anxious to see the real improvements on the "street" so to speak. If you can't get the power to the ground, you can't go any faster. I think this is s real limitation of the stock tire and little weight on the rear. Sure, smoky burnouts look cool if you are teenager, but I want to make a good hit. Spinning the rear tire all the way to 60 isn't going to do that. On my sport bikes I have the other problem; wheelies.
      If Joe does get more power out of it, might not really be useful for me except on a roll. I don't need any more wheelspin off the line. One little spin and my 60' times are instantly over 2 seconds. That totally kills my downstream run at least for ET. So far the Treal exhaust has been my best bolt-on so far. I haven't been able to do any real testing with your tune yet.

  • @peter58murray
    @peter58murray Před 3 lety +1

    I'm getting an average of 4.5 seconds to 60 on my UK ryker rallye ..only mod is a derestricted air inlet pipe and a KN filter.im maybe getting a dynojet pv3 remap tomorrow though. The trouble i have and its the same for you it looks like is getting the power down...that 0 to 60 in 4.5 secs was with about 30 feet of wheelspin,the rear tyre is rubbish, a better tyre i think i would see around 4 seconds easy

    • @BLRTUNING
      @BLRTUNING  Před 3 lety

      Yes absolutely four seconds is not a problem with a better rear tire. If you'd like to message me through the blr tuning Facebook page perhaps I can help you out with a custom tune..

      Hi Peter Murray. I live in the UK and I am thinking of getting a Can Am Rally Ryker. Can I ask how you are finding the Can Am. Has it been reliable and what is the UK service like. I have been reading about these and tuning but cannot find anywhere in the UK for tuning these only from the USA. Does the added performance parts void your warranty?

    • @BLRTUNING
      @BLRTUNING  Před 3 lety

      I can tune these and it goes through email. I'm in the US but I could easily tune your bike for you via email if you'd like to go over all the details please feel free to message me. I have a Can-Am ryker still and I have about 7,000 miles on it and I absolutely love it that thing is a blast and with a little bit of custom tuning work it is a true powerhouse....

    • @BLRTUNING
      @BLRTUNING  Před 3 lety +1

      @@voodoochild6741 I believe before we tackle nitrous or turbo kit we need to figure out traction issues first LOL the bike doesn't get traction as it is add another 50 or 60 horsepower on top of that and you would be left sitting at the starting line while the stock bike drives right by you..

      Bet they are changing clutch springs, weights, and rollers, on the clutch. We do all that on our mountain snowmobiles here in Montana. When you need to get sled up on top 6feet of powder, you need the clutch to spin up faster to get on top of powder. But do your changes gradually, such as spring, test. Weights...test. Rollers...test. R&D

      @@randyherz144 The weak link off the line is traction, more power or quicker harder clutch engagement just spins the tire more. Even front wheel drive cars and get decent traction with racing tires.
