    Good understandable explanation.
But can you explain exactly, what the one on the driver's side does and the one on the passenger side does. I have a 2016 VT I purchased the one that you have in your video.. thanks

the one on the drivers side is the Blow off valve, that stuck BOV opens to let air go back into the intake tube, The other one is the waste gate on the side of the turbo it helps with turbo lag

it is common for the Mac Bov Solenoid to fail, you can try testing it first but there are upgraded ones you can get from places kdmtuners.com/product/mac-bov-solenoid-upgrade

So I just installed the same valve and I immediately had issues with the vehicle blow-off instead sounding like a Stututu, where before the valve replacement it was a single wooosh. Also, yes it is quieter, but feels like I maybe lost some power (might just be me). Lastly, keep getting a P2261 code. Did I maybe get a faulty valve or is this normal? Thank you!

get a in line vacuum gauge, and check the vacuum to the blow off, I had to add a vacuum tank, also you ll want to check the blow off vacuum to make sure its working correctly, I only get the P2261 code now if I have my foot on the brake for a bit, and then hard throttle or when I run the ac in town. There is a recall on some of the vacuum pumps you might want to look into that also.

Hi! After changing to the MAC valve, did the fluttering go away or does it still do it? I already changed the valve that is located next to the turbo with a MAC valve, but I have not changed the one next to the BOV(the one you changed). I also have an expansion tank. Check engine is gone, but I am still having the fluttering.

it has help greatly, but I notice if I am on the brake for long time like a long stoplight it still happens once in a while, I am going to look into the recall on the vacuum pump or do the repair listed in the bulletin static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2018/MC-10145503-9999.pdf

Will this fix the code p2261 after installing aftermarket bov or is it your other video replacing the one on the passenger side that will fix the code?

normally its the BOV one the drivers side, the other one failed because of heat. I added a extra vacuum tank, now I only get the code when running the AC in town when I am on the breaks a lot. I think the main problem is the vacuum pump there is a recall on some of them.

@@ikiru1969 my vacuum pump was replaced under warranty already, but since I installed my Bov the code hasn't gone. Installing the Mac valve today so hopefully it fixes it

mine has not come up for the recall, but I am still going to do the repair myself just to make sure it dose not fail
