I can’t imagine being one of these drivers after one of these events and getting into a normal car even a supercharged GT500 fully worked probably feels like nothing compared to these cars 🤣🤣🤣

davidgreid007 YES! This is how it’s done! No bullshit music, no shaky footage... crystal clear video and the roar of those engines blasting out my ear drums like I was there! Cruzredeye , for the absolute best experience go to Bristol motor speedway in Bristol, Tennessee/ Virginia. You’ll find out why it’s known as thunder valley. It’s in a narrow valley in between steep hills and the drag cars using Nitromethane overwhelm your senses! The sound gets bounced off the narrow valley walls and right into your ears. That along with the smell of nitromethane will give a real gear head a hardon better than JLO at her best!
Art Tafil I’ve always wanted to go to Bristol. Denver is hard up against the mountains and the stands are very close to the track. The sound bounces off of those red rocks very well. The first part of the track uses an industrial cooling unit to keep the track temperature down for the launch area and 300 or so feet down the track. It seems to work well. Denver is closer to where I live. Maybe I’ll try to get to Bristol this year if the whole country isn’t shut down or quarantined by this GD “plague”.

I've been going to NHRA and IHRA drag races for 46 or 47 years now. Alot of these comments sounds like they are coming from a bunch of rookies that have only seen a race on CZcams. So many are amazed at 60 gallons to the mile. The last time that I asked at a drag strip I was told by one of the teams, back in 2017 they told me that Nitro methane was $16.36 a gallon (55 gallon drum was $900.00)

Great video agreed. As far as camera angles go , watch ' Top fuel ,nitro thunder , Sydney dragway - May 4th 2019 .
The camera angles and telephoto lens makes it look like they going only 60 mph.

334mph in a 3.8 second quarter mile. Damn.
