Great Video. When removing the aluminium inner bezel, it was glued down. If you were to re-attatch the metal aluminium bezel to the case, would you use super glue or another type of glue?
You can just reattached it without any glue, it'll be held by the bezel. Anyway, Casio used double sided tape actually. You can custom cut and tape them there instead piece by piece.

I'm experiencing the same issue myself at the moment with the same model and few other G-Shocks, I'm still figuring it out. I'll share about it if I already found the solution. :)
If the solar part is no longer functioning could you pop a normal battery into it just to get it going? As long as it fits. 2032, 2012? Shame to waste such a nice watch

isolate the pin in contact with the board and solar panel first. Using normal batteries (3volts) will work but will risk damaging the board since rechargeable batteries/capacitor came with the watch is 2.6v.

How does someone buy a solar watch without solar panels? Didn’t you notice the watch would never charge up?
Swap to a regular non-rechargeable battery which is 10x cheaper.
Now, it didn't matter if the solar panel is there or not. The watch would still function as usual. G-Shock was built to last like that.

Why don't they make the high tech watch like Rangeman GW-9400 but with much smaller size, based from seeing the inside of this watch, it seems possible
nothing high tech about the GW 9400. its a defective design (weaker case). The 9300 model is tougher.
Smaller case? It's already not that big. Except if you have bitch wrists.
