I like the ayi mensah Park. Very nice and serene. The backdrop of the hills and green nature. However I see this as high end market. There are those who can afford. I am rather thinking of the average Ghanaian. There's no housing market to cater for the the average market woman or the teacher or nurse. That's the housing market I am looking to enter cos I see no developer catering for that level.
That's my points. Development is going on in Ghana especially in the housing sector yet it's not made for average Ghanaian! That's the facts. This only means poor folks will stay poor or poorer and rich people will stay rich. Because average Ghanaian can't even afford renting a reasonable accommodation! The rent is paid in 1 or 2 years advance etc etc. Affordability and moderate structure is what is needed when it comes to housing in Ghana if not we will have rich people buying 2 to 4 houses and poor people staying poor and poorer in the kiosk, one bedroom or chamber nad hall without good toilet amenity in the house or even neighborhood! Therefore more abstract poverty. The more poor people we have the dangerous the Country will be because they will strive to survive by any means!
Kwadwo Sheldon look at what $30mn has done at Ayi Mensah Park yet the past government claimed they have spent $197mn on Saglemi Housing project. and they still need $32mn more to complete it.
And the sad thing is they budgeted to build 5000 units and after parliament approval they went back and amended the contract for 1500 and still couldn't finish with all that money. I don't know why people are not in jail for this scam.
Are we using the buildings or left and being rotting?? And those buildings are bigger compared to this, and this place is only 200 units and the saglame is 1500 units like someone mentioned here... 👉🏽🐢🐢🐢

Plus the compound is too small and for the 2 bedroom semi detached you don't get access to the backyard unless you pass the main house. At least that was the only house I entered.
