Fun fact: The first person actually has a stutter, and he sings that deep and slow to keep his voice that well conditioned.
also, singing and speaking use different parts of the brain, that's a major reason why he doesn't stutter while singing. and he has amazing control either way.

Actually that is a Dolly Parton song. Elvis wanted to record it. She was so excited about it until Elvis's manager told her she would have to sign the rights to the song over to Elvis. She said no because she had already had a number 1 hit on the country chart with the song. That decision made her tons of money when Whitney recorded it.

Not even kidding I had chills and goosebumps almost all of this video. They'd come and go depending on the singer.
What gets me each time is the family’s they have tears of happiness in their eyes and they are so proud. I tear up each time.
Seeing the first singer's little brother tear up for him is what got me. What a wonderfully supportive family.

Jesus. I’m a professionally trained musician (vocalist) and when I heard that first singer (the young guy) -I’m kinda jaded after many years in music so it’s nearly impossible for me to be emotionally affected by anyone’s performance!) within a few seconds I just emotionally collapsed into tears of pure joy. I reacted that way because his soul literally reached out & touched MY soul. And that phenomenal occurrence is such a rare thing; it’s the feature of a true vocal musician. Because without that emotional connection, Music is just math (e.g. how many beats per measure- time signature, counting out how many beats for each kind of note. I feel drained. Someone is going to sign this kid & I have no doubt that we’ll see him win at least one Grammy.
