I'm 70, I look out the window and see a beautiful sunny day, I grew up not 15 minutes away and can never go back. Parents are gone and the years for me have long ago moved me away from youth and middle age. I look out the bedroom window and remember all the things teens enjoy and everything in between and I cry. It really hurts to have nothing in life anymore. No home, no car and no job. Just sit and wait for death. But I listen to this music and it astounds me how wonderful life is. Music is life. I cry from listening to all those talented singers and I cry tears of joy. Just so beautiful. I'm so thankful to have the pleasure of hearing and sight, it makes life a brighter day listening to The Voices, you know the show The Voice? LOL

Even the ones that win never get known that so sad
There's a clause in the contract that prevents them from doing their own stuff for years after. Only the ones who get record deals are exempt. There's videos of people reading through the contract and commenting on how bad it is

It's because when he wasn't belting - which he was really good at - he sounded quite flat. You need a special something for that genre and he didn't have it
They dont know how to teach him so that why they dont turn around..maybe because of their genre
Goodness, that James Dupre guy, I'm not even that into country, but that guy killed it to one of my favorite songs. He just has that classic 80s/90s country ballad tone, along with some pretty smooth runs and riffs in there. Most male country songs aren't hard to sing, which is why you don't often see all the coaches turn around for them, but the tone of his voice. And he looks younger too. I believe he was 25 or 26 here. It's rare to see such depth and development in tone at such a young age.
I don't think of Hootie and the Blowfish as country, even if Darius Rucker has made the transition.
I hate how the voice now dont let artists perform songs like this. They repeat the same songs instead every season

They should have a thing were they have a celebrity go up there and sing a song but the judges don't know it's a celebrity and they see if everyone turns.
