    Good morning Chris. To begin, let me say I'm so happy that God has blessed your business the way he has!! You obviously make useful high qualiy products. I believe your new 24" bracket would appeal to more than woodworkers. If you choose to go forward with this product you could market it to any individual or business because the shelves could be used for anything, providing it weighs 1000 pounds or less. Just an idea I had while watching your video. And I think selling the frech cleats of different lengths to go with them might be a good idea. Just my random thoughts. I pray 🙏 you and your family have a great weekend and following weeks. I always enjoy your videos! 😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤

    The flap sander is a great upgrade! It'll make your various French cleat products (my favs!) that much nicer. Would love the option of the large 24" shelves, but it would be good to note on that product that a person's wall cleats need to be up to the task. I made a few shelf brackets that size and I had to upgrade how I attached my wall cleats so they were up to the task.

    Instead of breaking down plywood in the driveway or otherwise outside the shop on the centipede, have you thought of getting a panel saw? It's a great tool for quick straight cuts and easier to move the plywood around - you could slide them right off a mobile materials dolly or cart onto the saw and slice it up into CNC or laser sized blanks. I donated one to my kids' high school drama department so they weren't wrestling sheets of plywood on the table saw to cut them up because it's a huge safety benefit too.

    hey man i have a cheap compact dust separator/extractor solution that uses cheap 6" abs pipe and one of those tiny shop-vac micro 1 gallon vacuums with a hepa bag, and some 3d printed abs parts to connect everything. quick easy unscrew for the abs cannister to empty. made a frame for it that hangs it on a french cleat. even a 3d printed muffler/diffuser for the vac exhaust so it doesn't blow around whatever's behind it (like dust on the french cleat). even found some small 3d printed 1.25" hose blast gates to easily keep a couple different tools connected. i also have a version of connectors and gates for a 2.5" hose and a higher horsepower shop vac. super compact and mobile and cheap enough to have a few of them around the shop on different stations. i haven't done super high volume with it but it seems to be working pretty well, certainly spins the air without losing much flow. i'll try to get it uploaded to printables and thingiverse in the next days.

      @@AGlimpseInside If you are working with hardwood, rough round the corners with a sander, hardwood is rough on the brushes and paper and because it's flexible won't take a lot off at a time. but it will sure take the ridges made by the sander out quickly and leave it smooth. If you go with a grizzly, which is what I have and looks like the one in this vid they offer two grits 80 and 120. 80 will leave minor scratches in the wood but it will be smooth. I have a little business where I make stands for a local glass blower and use a very hard wood that can be difficult to work with and I take the edges down with a belt sander the touch them up with an orbital sander then hit the entire piece with this sander and they are silky smooth. I've done thousands in the 14 years I've owned mine. The motor will get hot and because I use mine sometimes for hours at a time, I shut it down and let it cool off. I love mine, couldn't do what I do with out it.

    • @AGlimpseInside
      @AGlimpseInside  Před 5 měsíci

      @@jaycumiford8062 yeah, I have that grizzly and I order a massive roll of Klingspore. And cut it myself. I have 100 and 150. And they both work really well. I find the Klingspore stuff holds up a little bit better than the grizzly stuff but not that much. And yes I know exactly what you mean about that motor. Getting hot. Good advice here.
