MY old way of doing a Scorpion Kunai Chain was a small tape measure with the tape replaced with a thin rope and a kunai tip (back when it was still a rope in the games and not a chain). It was pretty easy to do since the kind of tape measure I had was the kind that was loose until you pressed the button to retract it. Nobody ever really thinks to do it like that. It's not easy but it worked.
I was been trying to do that too! Makeing a Rope Spear with a tape Measure or Recoil thing. But I want to ask, what kind of Tape Measure did you used to make a Rope Spear aka Scorpion Kunai?

Exceptionally impressive work, however I've got a suggestion wish it might make it slightly better. The only negative thing I see in it is that you have to use both your arms to utilizes your creation, unlike scorpion who uses one. Posible, you could use the activation mechanism of the well-known hidden blade from assassin's creed series ( If that possible, I'm not sure. It's just a suggestion ). All they have to do is pulling a thin rope by a metal ring they wear to cause for the balde to come out, so it might be possible to use the same method to cause for the spear to be launched, using a single-hand action

I've seen other channels where bizarre Far Cry weapons were made real. I think in a few of them, the creator got an official sponsorship from Ubisoft.
Of course when I create cool toys, I usually just get some troll spamming get-rich-quick schemes in the blog comments. Or, someone from the government asks me to take it down. Heck, I remade Big Rapids in The Sims 4, and not one of the parties promoted in the OBRL stuff pack ever sponsored me back. I hope they appreciate the free advertising though.

I have a tip in case you want to come back to this project in the future, why not use the same base as the hookshot from shadow warrior 3 with the system that makes the rope release with the help of a motor along with the hook when releasing the gas and with the same engine pulling the rope when retracting.

They are always listening, if you said it aloud, Google will queue it up for you. Thats technology today, watch what you say, it'll link any good or bad idea you want, and send it your way.
I would have said use a more stronger material for the chains that makes it more resistant to impact and my own ideas would be a cord idea that also has two motors that return the blade back when you make a mechanism that uses a button and switch form. The button for launching and the stitch like a reload system to return the blade back.
I feel like making it punch activated, like Allen Pan's fire bender gauntlets would have made it more realistic, that and putting it on the left hand seeing as that is Scorpion's kunai hand

What I would do is have a pressure system like you see on some arrows that makes something pop out once it enters the body and hooks in to actually pull them back like scorpion.
I kinda like this kind of short, fast paced video even if it is with a sponsor. It give i nice contrast to the norm for the guys

Hanzo as human, we threw the kunai on a chain which was kinda common in that era. Hanzo giving his soul up to Quan-chi to become Scorpion, the weapon was out his actual hand. So now I want to see a weapon coming out someone's hand.

He does realize scorpion just throws the kunai it's wrapped around his wrist and covered by his robes like kratos is blades except she wears robes or sleeves that cover up the chains and most likely he uses his fire to propel it as he throws it but he ultimately just arose the kunai and pulls them back
