The problem for Mbappe is people only measure him by goals and not how he actually performs overall on the pitch. If you actually objectively watched him today he looked really good and his assist was sublime. The problem is the highlight reel generation demand actual games to be highlight reels and that’s not how the game works.

You might want to reacquaint yourself with Mbappe. He has 48 goals and 35 assists in 84 matches for France at only 25. Not to mention 288 goals and 126 assists in 373 career club matches. His assist today for the French goal was not an anomaly. People think he’s all about just goals. He’s not. He’s a phenomenal passer of the ball and his technique on the ball is incredible.
Yamal is the next big time player though it looks like. Scored that goal against best defence in the world
