This made so much sense and was so clearly stated. However, I did everything in the order that you did and I got an error message and said that I need an extended access. I see things that say 2 months free and I fill out all of the requirements and I don't see anything so far. I appreciate your help it's just so frustrating. I don't need special computer stuff to tell me that the tires are low on air or flat. :-)
Yes, you do need the extended license to use the high level functions. I ended up just buying it for a year because I use it quite a bit.
Thanks 👍 No need to buy the software, a simple reinstall every two months if you need it again. In my case used once to disable the TPMS system in a 2011 Mustang and don't plan to use it again. But your demonstration was nice. I made a lot of effort to get the TPMS working, even put in a used computer module and the tires had new sending units, but the fault message would return after clearing, The SYNC 1 system had died in my car so maybe that had something to do with the issue. Anyway, I've been driving and checking my tires for over 60 years, so the TPMS is nothing I need. Gol dern techo nonsense. VW has a much better system with no sending units in the wheels.
I replaced sensors too. I got tired of messing with it.

What can I do if my elm327 doesn't have any kind of label identification on the toggle switch? No MS/HS label.
Upgrade or look for articles on how to modify. My laptop connector has a switch. There are also automatic switching adaptors.
Any idea how to make this work on a transit connect 2017, i dont have the option in my sub menus to disable tpms. I dont have access to the calibration files the program asks me, thanks!

I wonder if this will work on a Honda.
I paid the the year and everything worked when i hooked it up but for some reason the menu in config only has 3 options, it does not have that whole list of all those things you can change. Any chance you know what i am doing wrong? If not, that app is worthless to only be able to change 3 things.

I got the same adapter in the video. Only thing you can change on a 2008 f150 is auto lock, flex fuel, and outside air temperature. Forscan customer service Said that's all the features it could do on that model. Waste of money, i literally bought it only for tpms, I returned it. Thanks for the video tho
That is very limited. The escapes have so many functions that can be accessed.

Tried this on my 2009 F150. Generic Module Configurations never appeared, so I never got to the point where i could turn off the !?!!$&??! TPMS system.

gem is old version, if you have a newer truck it’s different and has way more stuff you can access and modify.
