In this video, I am demonstrating how to watch CZcams on Android Auto in 2023. You can play videos as well from different sources like Hulu, Disney, Amazon Prime Videos. ROOT is NOT REQUIRED. This is an actual WORKING SOLUTION and works with the latest Android 13 - works with Coolwalk as well.

This actually added the ability for me to use CZcams in the car on my Android auto radio. Thank you very much for giving us a quick get to it response and not some garbage-filled video. It was very simple and easy to use thank you again I did notice I had to open the app at least one time in order for it to show up in my Android auto just a quick note for anybody else doing this.

Can you watch videos in Parking Mode, or Driving for the passenger? Cause it would be nice to park, and watch a video under the stars, or arriving early at work.
@@melodydawn I can watch videos no matter what I'm doing now this all depends on which radio you have because some of them might lock that feature up but since this is basically just using a browser on your phone and playing CZcams through it you probably shouldn't have any problems so it did work fine for me. Also depending on how powerful the head unit is and your phone it may not be the smoothest thing either. But it played perfectly fine for me and I only have $100 head unit
Thank you very much. Was successful in getting this to work, using my Samsung Galaxy S22 in my 2014 Kia Soul. Yes, it's really a 2014. From what I've read, it was one of the very first cars produced to have a factory infotainment system that is compatible with android auto/apple car play.
i have the samsung galaxy s22 also but i was not successful to install it. It gets stuck on "Loading" forever and then says the app isnt responding. Help please

SO SOLID !!! I just bought a 2023 Tundra TRD Crew Cab and man I bought the Binzie Box for 369. Nothing worked. Tried other channels and now finally I can watch Utube when I drive. Just being honest. Really its more to listen to live shows or concerts im being a bit mischievous but thank you thank you thank you!!!!

Great info and instructions. One issue with my install, S22 Ultra, OS 13, When I click "Unlock(root)" I get a message "Root not available, install SuperSU and preform root first", thought you didn't need to root the phone? This will be a great addition, as I can watch a movie or YT while waiting for the wife shopping. Thanks

Did you get any of the mirror aps to work. They were working on my 2019 Ram but having issues on my 2023 Silverado. Just wondering if it was a certain version or older release

Hey everyone, just a heads up that this isn't functioning on Android 14. It only works on earlier versions like Android 13. It seems that Google has blocked this Car stream feature in Android 14.
That's why we never update our software even if we miss on new featurzs

Just installed on an old s8 active, not rooted. Confirmed works for CZcams. Haven't tried others yet

Fantastic video, thank you for showing the possibility! I haven't been able to get CarStream to show in my app list. Looked on the mobile android auto 'customise launcher' setting and on the car. Have I missed a step?
Same for me, it shows with my phone apps but no where in android auto, phone or car screen

Google has since updated Android Auto to remove the Car Stream app. It doesn't show up any more on the Andriod Auto apps available on the car.

Got it to work fumbled on some steps but probably operator error. However, didn't really like it because its very limited to its functionality. But thank you for presenting something that did in fact work
It works. However, video and audio are out of sync. Maybe it's my system (Hyundai i30 2022, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro).

For this to work, follow -> Enable developer mode in Android auto, then in Android auto tap the 3 dots, top right corner. Select developer, select unknown sources. Restart and it will appear

It works with my Realme X2 pro. I bought pro version and CZcams works perfectly.
Please be aware of that battery discharge warning, I ran this for about 40 minutes like a dummy with my car off and it sucked the life out of my battery

Worked perfect on my 2023 f150 with sync 4 and 12" screen, its not full screen but i can live with that, its how the ford sync system is.. plays my VUDU movie account no problems

If it doesnt appear on the app list do thre following. I've figured out the solution. Load the android auto app, click the version number 3 times to enable developer mode. Go into the developer options and tick enable unknown. It will then show the added apps in the menu to appear on your screen.

As I am using a device owned by my employer, I am not able to enable the "install unknown apps" option. Is there a way to install something from Play store or any other approach that can be used in my case?

App worked great and showed up on AA. 21 CX-5/ Galaxy 21 ultra. Unfortunately Mazda left touchscreen, and using a knob to try and navigate a browser page has so far made it less that enjoyable.

I managed to download AAAD as well as the carsteeam but it won't appear on my android auto, any ideas why?
I also have this issue. Carstream shows on my phone, but not when I open the Android Auto app to include YT on the screen.
