hi iam also using 2yr old woodman andriod unit i tried with headunit reloaded app of trial version it worked fine after installing paid version its not working can you let me know the reason or solution.
I works with oneplus phone but with my old mi note 7s device it hangs.. This is not compatible with redmi note 7s or is there a work around for it.. Also how do you get full screen maps?

Google maps app will not be in Headunit Reloaded app. It will be in your smartphone. Headunit Reloaded app only displays the Maps from your smartphone into your Android headunit.

Depends on what AVN system you have in your car. Does the system in your car have support for Wired Android Auto or Apple Car Play? If yes, then this method will work. If not, you might have to change your system.

Pioneer unit has wired Android Auto support and USB screen mirroring. I dont think you can install 3rd party apps such as HUR on Pioneer to get Wireless Android Auto.

Yes it will work with Blaupunkt, and its a one time payment. No need to pay yearly.

I had this issue. After lot of debugging, turns out.. it was my phone. Try with another phone, which is of a higher spec.

Hai bro nice video. I have zlink 5 app in my system. But I noticed that it is crashing often and not connecting my phone wirelessly. Please tell us do we need HUR to be downloaded for better performance by uninstalling zlink5 app
Both are different apps. You can try the HUR app in your system to see if it works well. If yes, you can continue using it. No need to uninstall zlink app

All steps are not needed everytime! Most of them are only for the first time.
The second time you do this, you only have to start your mobile hotspot and click on start head unit server in android auto. Then open HUR app and click on wifi.

If you have changed the stock AVN system to an ANDROID system, then yes, you can. But if you have Honda Digipad, then you can use only Android Auto via USB cable. No wireless option.

This method works with Android AVN systems. Haven't tried the Baleno unit.

Here are few points
1. I am able to use phone control button behind steering wheel other than all our steering wheel button as well
2. Both existing usb slots are working
3. Reverse camera angle can be changed by source button
4. Can use wireless Android Auto with Z link app itself no need for head unit reloaded installation
5. Audio quality improvement
Major issue I faced during installation was my car remote had sensor loss issue were in I was unable to unlock car via button in the door and had to keep car keep near push start button to switch on the car
This was rectified on the same day after constant follow up with installation guy n wood man support Team
One is for sure that This is is far better than the stupid DIGIPAD

Car system must be connected to the WiFi hotspot of smartphone. It doesn't matter which google account you are logged into.

Yes it should. As it's only a wireless projection. That's why you can try it out first using the trial version of Headunit Reloaded app, first to confirm.

Yes. USB option is the go to way to get Android Auto in any car! But this video is about making it wireless. Hence I haven't mentioned about USB. All Android Auto users use it only with USB.
How do we make it work for sony or pioneer headunits?
You cannot. Only those units which allow external app installation are compatible with this method. So if you cannot install Headunit Reloaded app, you can't use this method

Now, if i want to use my wife's phone for navigation, then do I need to purchase it again for her google account as to connect her phone to car stereo and use the android auto, i think her gmail id needs to be used to logged into the car stereo.

No. You don't need to purchase it with another account again. Once you purchase the app with your primary Google account and use the same account to login into the app in the car unit, it will stream Android Auto with other smartphone as well

You have to allow for 'media and calls' in the Bluetooth settings in your smartphone.

Open Android Auto in the settings of your smartphone.
Click on version number multiple times to enable 'developer settings'.
Click on three dotted menu on top right corner and open 'developer options' from the drop down menu.
Select the 'wireless android auto' option to enable it.

No. Android 10 has Wireless Android Auto support. Did you enable developer settings and are you getting a 'developer options' in the drop down menu?

I checked the terms and condition for minimum phone requirement. There it is mentioned that for all phones should have Android 11 but for Google and Samsung it can be Android 10.
Could you pls check once. You need to click Connection help option in Android auto to see the minimum phone requirement.

Yes I checked. They have probably removed support for Android 10 now. Previously it was supported. So now you need minimum Android 11 for Wireless Android Auto. You can only get Wired Android Auto on your Realme phone.

Unlink/Delete the device both in your smartphone and Android headunit. Open bluetooth settings of Android headunit and connect again. It may ask passcode the first time. Once connection is showing in the status symbol, confirm it by playing any songs via Bluetooth fron smartphone to Android headunit. Once that is working, open HUR app and connect the wireless android auto

I cant download the app on my Woodman head unit. Can I purchase the app on my mobile. How to load the app in the head unit after that ?
You cannot install it in your mobile and load it into the Headunit. It has to be installed in the Headunit directly. I will be bringing up a video soon on this. Stay tuned.

Wireless Android Auto working flawlessly in my WRV. Thanks so much for the support. Only one issue left - the apps in android auto are working fine like maps, music players, etc. However the apps in the head unit are not playing once i exit android auto although its connected to my phone.

Please share a video on how to load an app into the android auto system from the head unit. For example youtube is installed in my woodman head unit but not showing in apps menu when android auto is running.
