There is something about the way Charlie Cox delivers his lines as Matt-even in the world as fantastical as the MCU he is still able to give us the groundedness and the realistic POV of Matt Murdock, the guy from the streets.
Felt so much emotion from him in the trailer alone

Not really because it's episode 4/6 and Jen hasn't actively hunted down criminals unlike Daredevil who was doing that from the beginning. "Captured its essence perfectly" is not the phrasing I would use here.

The writing for Daredevil already sounds good, and he could definitely be a great mentor for Jen seeing as they both have their lawyer and superhero lives merging with one another. I'm hoping to also see some action scenes where the two of them team up and fight together
But the thing is, daredevilâs identity is a secret so he can still be Matt Murdock in the court room.
Whereas if Jen uses she-hulk to enforce justice, she would be a vigilante and everyone knows who she is, so itâs going to be hard being a law abiding lawyer in a court room when everybody knows you just beat up someone the night before.

@@Detective_Deadblue I am an avid DD reader, mostly Frank Miller who defines the character just as he did with the Dark Knight Returns and have zero desire to see what abomination they do to the vengeful "Man without fear" broken and rebuilt in "Born Again".
To be honest i hate live action capeshit movies and TV. I have seen a handful of Marvel films that I liked. Blade, Tom Janes and War zones "Punisher", and the first couple Spiderman films. You couldnt pay me to watch this.
The few episodes i saw of the TV show were weak, but compared to Disneyfication, they probably seem like masterpieces
I love how Matt Murdock just shows back up in the mcu after years of being silenced. Felt so good to see Matt in Spider-Man no way home. Itâs gonna feel so good when he gets his show back :)

I, like many people, have been a little worried about whether or not they would do right by Murdock/Daredevil. But he still feels like the same guy, which is great because he's my favorite hero in the MCU and he still has the best show.

For those wondering why Titania broke into the courtroom in episode 1 and never faced any consequences for it, the series creator Jessica Gao confirmed that Episode 1 was originally Episode 8 and were swapped around in post. She wanted the explanation of her origin to be later in the series.

I was like, "Wait, is that Frog-Man?" This is exactly why I like She-Hulk. With the show being so light-hearted and comical, they can introduce wackier Marvel characters like Squirrel Girl, bring in Howard the Duck for a more substantial role, they could have Dazzler suing her record company. So many possibilties for characters that normally wouldn't fit onscreen in the usual Marvel movie/show. And you can still have badass action cuz she's She-Hulk

Is it me or is this the first MCU series with midseason ads? I think its a great show. All superheros don't need to be super serious or super weird. Diversity in personality, profession, temperament and every other kind of way is always a good thing. Marvel keep up the great work!
All mcu series have had mid season trailers, but none with netflix returning characters so far
She hulk is a superhero for toddlers, this character has no depth or rememberable traits. Shes already op and perfect so theres no room for improvement either. They did this with Tom Holland's spiderman and now theyre rewriting his whole story, feel like its gonna happen with this one too.
They shouldâve cut the Blonsky and Wong subplots and instead focus on building a relationship with daredevil. Jen and Matt Murdock are two sides of the same coin it baffles me heâs only gonna be in the last two episodes. Maybe there was some scheduling conflicts with Charlie Cox but I still think they couldâve worked around that to deliver a much more grounded and focused show. Ms Marvel at least had a plot that moved forward, this show is just She Hulk going to a different party/case every week and than the plot finally advances in like the last 2 minutes of each episode.

Thought the same thing, Spider-man gets beaten down HARD by tombstone and get's heavily injured which Spider-man realizes he can't beat Tombstone in a straight fight but then get's healed up by the Blacksuit which darkens his mood and Has Punisher convincing Spider-man on why he should take these villains out for good while Daredevil convinces him otherwise.
And in the the Rematch Tombstone vs Black-suit powered-up Spider-man as Daredevil and kingpin got against one another.
@@CharlieBrown20XD6 I hope they do it, everything points to it with characters like Kingpin and Daredevil being brought back in every second mcu thing coming out now (Hawkeye, Spiderman 3, She Hulk, Echo, Daredevil Born Again) - it looks to be a setup for something and both Charlie Cox and Vincent Donofrio teased they would both love to team up / fight with Spiderman and Spiderman 3 ends up on street level and crime in NY, no more cosmic, multiverse stuff for spidey it looks like (or so I hope, at least for 1 movie), so it would be perfect to bring him with all these classic friends on screen. Also Luke Cage and Danny Rand should join him in fight against Kingpin and it would be sweet christmas time for everyone.
@@kptmaci4979 I mean Spider-Man WILL be dealing with Cosmic/multiversal stuff when the next Avengers movie comes out as he IS apart of the Avengers as Avengers: The Kang Dyntasy will be dealing with that stuff but for his NEXY film. Spider-Man should deal with street level characters/conflicts like Tombstone and Kingpin for the next storyline and his own characters for at least that much.

TO be honest, despite the bashing and all, I enjoy this series. It serves its purpose. Light, funny and a show that encourages you not to analyze things. Its just it. Love the series.

@@spacequack5470 I actually donât think itâs mindless. I think thereâs some real substance here regarding womenâs narratives and allowing female characters in popular media to express themselves in ways that arenât always attractive to men, to create a larger canon of how female representation looks not just in the MCU but on television. I find that the depth doesnât go as far as Iâd like with fleshing out Jen and digging into the lawyer aspect of the show. I certainly have some critiques about the way the show is held back by the MCU references and the Marvel of it all. But Iâm enjoying it.
I wouldnât call that my experience a mindless watch, but to each their own. If thatâs how you consume media, good for you.

The biggest issue that she has is that she only looks out for herself, now she does say that she wants to help out people through the law which is nice but she also knows that she could use her powers to help make the world a safer or better place but doesnât because it could mess with her life, not thinking at all about the less fortunate and much less about if she could even help out someone just out of the kindness of her own heart. Now they could actually save the show (sort of) if in the last few episodes Jenâs self important, selfish, and mean spirited attitude either caused a lot of people who she cared about to get hurt due to her cockiness possibly because of assuming that she can stop anyone now just because sheâs a hulk and that mind set actually gives the villain the upper hand which could add some stakes to the show and make us care about Jen more and it would also humble the main character and give her a sense of Uncle Benâs famous words, which side note even Peter struggled with in No Way Home so itâs not unheard of for a hero to struggle with this concept, and who knows maybe Bruce could even give her this speech which would also redeem his character a bit too, and give him some seriousness and he could explain his whole backstory to her which would humble her even more hearing about how tragic it is and how she yelled at him for not understanding her problems, which yes while itâs sad that these things happen to her it doesnât even come close to what Bruce has had to deal with in his lifetime with the military hunting him down and heâs intense fear of letting Hulk out and harming countless of innocent people, or in a similar situation maybe she secretly doesnât have a good enough handle on her hulk side as she thought and maybe a she hulk separate personality comes out due to some extremely dangerous situation and she ends up losing control and hurts innocent people like the hulk has and as long as she learns from her lesson and doesnât try to just blame everything on Bruce and whatever situation she was in, it could also be a potentially very humbling experience too. I hope this could be what happens in the show but Iâm not holding my breath.
