- Today Heather and I visit Porto in Portugal. I split this lil vlog into 2 vlogs! I'm feeling excited to get back into vlogging in a more personal way without as much care into the views and such. It's difficult, but so it goes.

If you're new to my channel and videos, hi! I'm Evan Edinger, and I make travel vlogs of all the exciting places I visit. I started travel vlogging about 8 years ago because I wanted to see more of the world and be able to watch back some of my adventures. I also make weekly comedy videos every Sunday on my main channel usually revolving around funny differences between British vs American things! Anyway, thanks for stopping by!

a window in a roof is a skylight - even if it's stained glass.
6:54 Heather's response (turn and walk away) was the correct response!
I always love how chill and laid back your vlogs are. we get to see you having a good time and also a glimpse into what the place is like :)
Someone wise ones said: "the best camera is the one you use". I'm looking forward to more casual vlogging with you :)
If you're loving Portugal you really need to check out the Azores! They are spectacular.
6:55 This is almost like that old video with the guy incessantly making puns based on the names of IKEA products, and his partner looking pained! :D
im really enjoying this change direction. bravo!
Finally someplace where I've actually been and can relate! That sardine can shop was a wild place to randomly walk into while walking in the evening, it was a bright beacon along the river.
Also, for francesinhas, I have to recommend Alicarius is you ever make your way into Aveiro. Local friends have been raving about the francesinhas for years before I got to visit and try it and it was SO WORTH IT.
Yay for travel vlog! Bonus points for partner travel vlog. We love to see it. Such fun.
For a lighter vlog camera, the ZV-E1 is basically just a smaller A7Siii and I would recommend it, I really like it

@@RachelWolfehi Rachel!
Great tourist selfies here! So interesting seeing you guys visiting mainly filming yourselves.
Porto is a great city, so keep up the interesting work!
wild, my parents were just in porto 👀
There's a fella in Loulé in the south and he's from Porto and he runs a bar. He's thrilled to bits if you get a Francescinha. His wife brings it out with real ceremony and it's twice the size of that one in the video.
I love that your "ship" name is either Heaven or Ever 🥺😭
Hi! Does anyone know the song playing around 7:30? I loved it.
Am I stupid or is it dutch police in the clip that shows the portugese Airport gates?
good catch, it does say Koninklijke marechaussee on his shirt, how strange!
Did you guys like the brazilian food? Hahaha
Do you find that you don't fully take in everything on your trips because you are trying to view through a camera all the time?
Even though I am no way near a good photographer but even trying to capture shots on my phone on holidays I find that it can take away from enjoying the experience. I think it would be extremely hard especially if you are lugging around a heavy camera. I say take your phone, we still appreciate your videos and we are here to see you and Heather. 😁
It's actually quite simple. I just walk around enjoying my time and when some possible composition stands out to me, I line up and take a shot. And then I have nice photos to remember the trip with (and vlogs too!) Vlog are super helpful for remembering trips
Not to be "that guy" but the way you said "A man eats an apple" you pronounce it as "ma-sa" (massa) which means pasta 😅 Those lil accents in the c and a ("maçã") means you should say as "ma-san" and not "ma-sa" ☺
The food and wine I had in Porto were fantastic, but found the rest of the city really disappointing
aren't u too old to stay at hostels??? ;)
No one is too old to stay at a hostel! Older people like to travel around and stay in low-cost, unserious places too, and Evan is not very old anyway, he's only 30 something :) My parents and I stay in hostels whenever we're in Europe, they're less expensive, and the vibes are better
