It’s when narcissism moves up into the area of sociopathy. My shrink said they don’t make the diagnosis of “sociopath”. It’s got something to do with DSM5. I was only talking about what happened to me (completely different set of circumstances to today’s horrific case) but it helped me understand when behaviour goes beyond NPD and into the realm of sociopathy. These people are capable of anything.

This is such a sad story but as a nurse the dr saying “doesn’t look like a baby came out of there” made me laugh as it seemed like it was just a normal day for him. Makes me realise I should write a book about some of the unbelievable stuff I’ve seen.. I’ve also become so blasé about some of the weird shit I see

That's always the case with these types of people. They'll pour every ounce of energy into faking jobs, relationships, school accreditations, pregnancy etc. I find it unbelievable. I can't believe people's minds function this way and they can justify their lies and sometimes, will even murder to keep the lie going. Disgusting.

As someone who was a chronic liar as a child and teen, I'm so happy I didn't go this far with it. I met someone at 19 who made me rethink everything. I knew serial lying would cause me to lose any chance I had with him.

Knowing that a fake pregnancy business exists and that people pull pranks and trap people in relationships by pretending to be pregnant whilst there are people out there struggling to conceive or are unable to conceive who actually want to start a family makes me so unbelievably angry.
Also side note: I’m not gonna lie, after hearing so many horrible things and the knowledge of what Taylor had done to Reagan and baby Braxlynn Sage, hearing that doctor so bluntly and almost happily say that “no baby came out of her [Taylor] today” threw me for a loop and made me chuckle. It was like a very dark and unintentional bit of comic relief.
This story was so heartbreaking. Despite living in the US I had no idea it had happened, and so recently too. Thank you for your knowledgeable and empathetic coverage as always, Danielle.
I'm with you on the doctor. To me his tone sounded like "Ha! Caught ya b*tch". Like he had a hand (which technically he did) in sending her to jail and being held liable. Sweet justice to know she'll rot in jail for this
It is a shame but I know these sites were made for innocent reasons, because a friend of mine couldn't have children because of medical reasons and her and her husband desperately wanted children but it was a huge issue with her family to have a surrogate so they used a site like this in order for her to show the pregnancy stages along with her husband so that when they did have their children no one ever questioned that the children belonged to them. So, in this case a site like this is beneficial for parents like this, they were so happy to use these sites but the fact that someone would use them for evil purposes is just so wrong.
Health care workers see so much wild shit and go through so much, they have to try to have some kind of sense of humor about it.

I was thinking the same thing. I haven’t had cancer, but we are struggling to get pregnant. The thought of doing something like this never even crossed my mind.
Throughout the beginning of this video, with the amount of things that happened, I was continuously shocked to hear how little time has actually passed… so hearing ‘she was now 21’, ‘now 23’ etc I was like whattttttt 🤯

I had a friend like this who eventually did become very ill. All because she didn't finish antibiotics after an unnecessary surgery..now she was going to lose part of her leg below the knee due to sepsis but refused the amputation. She died in hospice 6 months later, not even 35 years old. She was bound & determined to be ill from when I met her to her death (10 years) But it went on for so much longer than that.
It's so unfortunate for all the people that truly are suffering when people like this are clogging up the system. RIP JL

I LOST it when you said Homer adopted Raegan’s daughter. I was hoping for that but man, when you said that I couldn’t hold my emotions in anymore. Truly one of the most heartbreaking cases I’ve ever heard. Homer lost his wife and newborn daughter in an instant. I’m so glad Kinley and Homer have each other💜
Taylor reminds me of my ex best friend she was the worst pathological liar you can possibly imagine. She was lying about pregnancy since the sixth grade, but then would miraculously always have a miscarriage. She would always spread rumors and talk trash behind my back and just spread lies about everyone I don't understand why pathological liars are the way they are.
This woman is the definition of evil. I've heard this case several times, not in the amount of detail that you provided, and I still can't believe it.

My mom has MS so hearing about someone faking it pisses me off. She was in hospital barely able to function when she was first diagnosed. We though she was dying from a brain tumor before we got the diagnosis. I grew up helping cook dinner, doing the house work, and making sure my mom used her cane when she had a flare up, while in elementary school. People who fake illness piss me off.
I have had MS since I was 14. I started using a cane at 23. I was thinking the same thing. Who says they have this ? MS is no joke. Definitely 1 out of 10. Do not recommend .

I love it when Danielle covers cases in the US. I've seen so many cases she covers. They are often so watered down, or you have to watch multiple videos from different places to get the full story. Danielle always has it all. She's the one stop shop for all my true crime needs.
As someone with a chronic illness I'd give so much to go to the doctor and have them say you're cured. I'll never fully understand people wanting to have a problem. I know that in itself is an illness but still its so hard to wrap my head around.

yeah that must be so weird for you to witness. i had a girlfriend whom have had cancer and we saw aan article about a woman saying sshe wished that her depressed son had cancer because then he would have gotten the help he needed quicker because of our failed mental health aid in our country. my ex was shocked beyond any words when she saw it and said that she would have gladly given up her time in chemo.

Mental health provision is inconsistent, and mental illnesses are rough illnesses, but it isn't so bad I'd swap the severe depressive illnesses and the restrictive ED I had for cancer.
Stories like this is why my sister would have me AND her baby daddy go with her to pick up second hand baby items from strangers and people she knew but didn’t know well. If you are pregnant and are reading this please do the same or at least meet in a busy public area.
Shout out mad props to Homer. He did the most manly and giving thing he could do. He legally became Kinley's father. In all the horror and sadness and loss, he shined a bright loving stable light that is a most treasured beacon. Aa father, a dad, a protector and a role model.

If you do unsolved mysteries that really need eyes on the case is Loren Harvey from Paradise, California. He disappeared 13 years ago. His mom works with my mom. He was a father and husband and nobody can find him. He didn’t just leave his kids behind. He was killed. His story needs to be shared. He was only 40.
I think that is a great idea. This is a way to get his story out there, and who knows, someone watching could have some info.

@@sansa357 I agree. They had billboards up and lots of notes and things in their safe. When the town of Paradise in California was destroyed so was all of their evidence and records. Such a terrible thing to lose everything including such precious memories and also your own notes and evidence. The Paradise Police bungled the investigation. The FBI got involved after his truck was found dumped up in the mountains and his handgun was found under the truck seat that the police didn’t find. It was found when the police released the truck to the family. I can get Danielle in touch with his mother who would be more than happy to share the story. She’s not in good health and I know she would love more answers.
This whole video has me in tears but Homer adopting Kinley has me in so much tears. Oh my goodness. All they have been through, all they have lost... gosh. I just can't.
I heard he adopted her before the sunflower theme wedding, Kinley was wearing a shirt with proposing text asking her mom to marry her daddy, the cutest thing ever. The worst part is when Taylor, during the trial, purposely wears a mask with a sunflower pattern on it to mock/trigger Raegan's family as everyone knows she loves sunflowers. Real satan in the flesh like how Raegan's mom described Taylor. They cant grieve properly especially when looking at pic of the 'supposed to be' happiest day of their life taken by the she-devil herself when got her eyes on her innocent prey. I'm wordless too.
Taylor sounds like an exhausting person just to be around idk how the men she dated dealt w her.
This case reminds me a lot about Bobbie Jo Stinnett. She's also the victim of the exact same crime and it is truly heartbreaking. Taylor got her punishment. What happens in the dark always comes to light.

This was my thought! Like why would she all of a sudden start lying in grade 3? Especially lies so dramatic that would hint at a "different personality" - like a dangerous family or being promiscuous. Definitely something happened!

I'm still in the childhood part of this story and I feel so bad for her back then. Because this was clearly a cry for help due to what must have been a horrible home Life. She was clearly getting no love, affection or attention at home. If her family just gave her the love she needed emotionally, everything would have been so different.
This disorder doesn't come about out of the blue. This is a coping mechanism that was so destructive.
My mother was a narcissist and you are spot on. People like this come from the most dysfunctional backgrounds imaginable. They were traumatized to the point of a psychotic break. It is truly sad. What is even sadder is there is no help for them and the only thing we can do is stay away from them. They are dangerous and have no real love for anyone.
You are 100% right. Im a mental health nurse and I live in a country that has free healthcare and a solid child, adolescent and adult mental health units and I have looked after many teens that could easily become Taylor due to some form of abuse. I actually do not think in my 20yrs I have looked after a disturbed kid that came from a good family. This is the reason I think healthcare should be free as I can imagine it would be hell to have a sick family member but can’t afford care especially specialised mental health care. Taylor deserves what she got for the crime but I hope this teaches people about the effects of mental illnesses. It sounds like Taylor has a severe personality disorder. If you want to google “Samantha azzopardi” she is a chronic liar with a personality disorder who I looked after for a yr in an Australian hosp and who has gone on to cause huge problems with her actions

As someone who can not have my own children, fake pregnancy pranking is so insensitive and damaging. That site is absolutely terrible, not just because they promote lying to your partner to prevent them from leaving, or to get their attention, but also because of how insensitive it is to those of us who can't have children. It's bad enough having to endure all the April fools posts but the fact that a site like this exists and people take that prank this far makes me so sad and angry.
I so appreciate that you go so far as to check out all the things you find including looking up websites the victims and/or perpetrators visit, the attention to detail and information given is so so helpful in painting a full picture.
The fact that I already knew of two other cases almost exactly like this is horrifying. The heartbreak for Homer must just be endless. Not to mention the point of losing his wife and daughter, but, even going to how we would usually grieve. He can't even look at what should be an amazing memory, his wedding, without probably remembering the person behind the camera on that same day being the one to steal his future. She tainted their lives and the grieving process. I wondered right away if he would then be separated from the 3yo so I was grateful to hear that he later adopted her. Definitely lots of red flags all through high school, but never did any of us who were around her even if it was a brief time in school thought she could do such a thing like this. I guess it’s true that you never really know peoples true selves until something tragic happens.

Same, I have heard of this case so I was going to skip it. Then I realised Danielle has a way of storytelling and really deep diving into people, and I had to give it a watch. Not disappointed.
Taylor Parker is one of the most evil psychos ever. I will never understand how she got away with her BIZARRE lies for so long. Still so heartbroken for Reagan, Braxton, and their family. I can't even imagine the grief they've had to deal with because of that psycho bia. I hope they have found strength and peace in each other. 💞

Before I watch this, I remember when this case came out and in the findings from the autopsy that there was a glittery purple nail found in Reagan’s stomach from fighting for her baby’s life and it was the most chilling and maddening thing I’ve heard IN YEARS. I cried so hard…

Wow. Wade sounds like such a kind person. He didn’t deserve all of this…. And Taylor’s poor children to know there mom did this and didn’t care about them…. And the poor woman who lost her life…. Wow I just feel for so many involved.
I literally know someone online JUST like this!!! Like, wow! The similarities are scary! Down to, faking pregnancies, making fake profiles to interact with herself and others, faking illnesses, and jumping from man to man to leach off of. It's absolutely insane that people like this exist. I really wonder what causes people to become pathological liars like this.
In this video you see that the father shares a similar lack of empathy & pattern of pathological lying. It’s no wonder why.
Do you feel it is nature or nature? Do you think it is innate or something someone learns from their parent? Do they have a predisposition that is then triggered by an event, treatment as a child, or is again learned? There are just so many questions.
I know you weren’t asking me but as a psychology major I love this stuff and couldn’t help myself lol! Most literature seems to point to a combo of both, for the majority of people. There are obviously extreme cases. Someone once said to me and it made a lot of sense that most of us are not totally at the mercy of our genes. For example, someone could be born with a gene making them predisposed to alcoholism. However if they never pick up alcohol, they won’t get drunk. I do feel that ‘nurture’ plays a significant role and can really exacerbate or minimize certain personality traits. For someone like Taylor though, she may be the exception where her brain is so damaged…… Psychopaths are born, sociopaths are made!

There was a similar case in Brasil. The victim was Flavia Godinho. It was a horrendous situation, the "friend" planned her "baby shower" just to take her baby away... 😭😭

Listen girl. I swear this woman reminds me so much of my mom. My mom slept with her friends husband. Left me and my brother with Grandparents to go to chat room parties. Lied all the time. Still does. Eventually she completely abandoned me and my brother. Wild wild stuff. Man. Like seriously I was diagnosed with MS May of this year and when my mom found out she started saying she might too, Or Huntington disease. (Our city name is Huntington). This story had me asking how my mother is already reborn even though she's still alive. 🙃🤣🤣 ** edit to add I'm 28 and haven't lived with her since I was 15.

Honestly hearing stories like the one in the video makes me believe that them “leaving” their kids is the best thing they could have done for the kids, imagine your mom making you sick to get sympathy like with gypsy rose?! I’ve never heard of magnetic nail polishes, and the different results you can get are amazing! I applaud the brand for using such diverse hand models. I’ve never seen another brand show hands with age and wrinkles ❤❤ That alone is a reason to support them.

When she was having stomach issues could have been the start of childhood SA. I can believe it as I was abused in elementary school by several teachers and it forces you to revert into a make believe world to escape.😢

Agreed. They share some responsibility for this. I’m sure they couldn’t anticipate the extent of what someone like Taylor would do, but if I owned that company, this tragedy would sure make me question the ethics behind the products I’m selling. I mean, I can appreciate a good prank but this isn’t really that funny. I would bet money on it that this website has done more harm than good.
When I was around 8 years old my now ex friend claimed she was pregnant. In middle school she literally faked her pregnancy constantly and once brought in her sisters ultrasound to show everyone. She scribbled the first name and left the last name. She was always “pregnant” and “miscarrying.” Now obvi we all know she was lying. But it’s disturbing knowing that people often lie about these things at such young ages and end up doing horrific things in their adulthood.
I went to school with a girl who did the same thing. Constantly faked pregnancies. She has four children now and I worry for them 🥺
I know a girl that did this, but I don't really talk to her anymore but she seems pretty normal, cant know for sure, shes also a nurse.

Her being like this from such a young age makes me really sus of her father. This is all signs of a very very abused child making it to adulthood and the cycle of abuse continues.
This happened where I live and let me tell you Taylor Parker acted out so much in jail they shipped her out the day she was convicted. She is the definition of a sociopath. Just pure evil.

Lots of practice. She's a pathological liar which means pretty much everything that comes out of her mouth is either a twisted version of the truth or an outright lie. Fueled by a lack of identity. Narcissists are something you have to see to believe.
It's heartbreaking when children are victims of these cases because they are vulnerable. This poor child didn't even get to live and the mother died trying to protect her baby. I've heard of similar cases like this and it makes me so sad. I wasn't able to have children, but I would never dream of robbing another woman of that opportunity because it is a unique experience. She had two other children she didn't care about so she ruined several lives because of her selfishness. Like you said, there are no words.
This person destroyed so many lives. And incredible as it is, she destroyed her own life in the process. Unbelievable!

The reason that Taylor insisted on going to the hospital in OK was because she had been flagged by all of the surrounding hospitals 😔 ppl had been calling hospitals to warn them about her since they knew she wasn’t pregnant.

It’s so upsetting and maddening that this isn’t even the first case I’ve heard about something like this. It’s also so maddening at the lengths that manipulators go to get what they want. Don’t care about the consequences for the people around them.
Unfortunately there are many cases of women doing this! It's scary and wild. Pregnant women need to be very weary of friends who are this obsessed with you! It's a scary world.
One of my sister’s friends knew both of these women. One of the most horrific and senseless crimes ever.
I had Pre and post partum depression and one of my biggest most excruciating intrusive thought was that this would happen to me and I managed to suppress it by telling myself it would never happen. Then I heard about this 🤢 im hoping I can stomach this vid as my son is 2 now

@@Osuna11 One time I convinced myself someone had locked themselves in my bathroom while I was alone with my son and I kicked the door in with a kitchen knife and no one was there 🤣 I’m on medication now which has helped massively! Not the best part of my life

I knew a girl who would also fake having all these illnesses. She faked having asthma just to get out of PE. She faked fainting during a fight that SHE started. And like some other stuff I can’t remember. I do wonder how she is, it’s only been like almost a year since I saw her. No we weren’t friends, she was just a classmate but everyone knew she was faking it
I hope both of the families can heal and find some peace from this awful situation. We can all agree that Ragan is a strong and brave mother who fought for her baby girl.

As a person who had been a pathological liar with munchausen syndrome and somehow grew out of these things without medical intervention, I can frankly tell you that even I don't know what was going on in my head back then . It's crazy man ! I'm so glad I turned out okay and not like one of these psychopaths.
I was like that when I was younger too. Like yourself I just kinda grew out of it I guess. I have had rheumatoid arthritis my whole life and I guess the attention and sympathy I received as a kid was really addicting. I went through a addiction to opiates as well, now I’m sober but it was really bad for a really long time. So sometimes I just wanted to get pills but sometimes I just wanted attention I think. Anyway glad you’re doing better too! I cringe looking back at it all. 🫣

I hear so often that it’s a manipulation tactic, but I’m of the personal belief that not all manipulation is done intentionally in a given moment…. It’s not until later on, that those behaviors are then realized and either chosen to be stopped or continued… but that’s just a personal theory so I’m wondering what your thoughts might be around that?

When you showed the body cam footage, my jaw DROPPED. I didn't put two and two together because I didn't know the full back story. But, I remember seeing that body cam footage and was just.. floored. The level of delusion and narcissism is INSANE.
Sounds like the Lisa Montgomery case. The faking pregnancy and killing to steal a baby was involved in that case too. If she is a Sagittarius, I do not claim her at all as a Sagittarius myself.

I went to school with a girl like this, she had been r worded by her dad, had cancer, lost tons of pregnancies because her bf pushed her down the stairs and hit her with the crowbar etc etc. It was terrifying. Even more so when she came to me and showed me she had TATTOOED MY NAME ON HER BODY!!!!!!! I was horrifed obviously but luckily left school soon afterwards. Then, she literally STOLE my aunt in laws husband, they married for 3 months then he came back to his old wife and I didnt hear anything for years...until 2 weeks ago when she messaged me "Hey Stranger!" Clearly i left it unread and havent responded. But omg the timing of this video. I could see her doing something like this.
Why not just block her and give yourself a piece of mind?
