Agreed. I grew up pretty sideways and could have ended up like this kid, yet I never harmed a fly. At his age, I was angry and hateful, didn't take shit from anyone either, grew up a tad tough & rough around the edges which still shows to this day, but to deliberately hurt someone? Absolutely could not. I don't believe I was 'lucky'. I believe I made choices to not hurt, simple as that, at lemme tell ya, I wanted to at times. Who wouldn't, when you're being hurt so much? But to just walk up and kill a stranger... I dunno, I could feel some sympathy for the kid if he'd offed his abusers or something, maybe, but holy hell, not this.

NO, that is not true. Anyone who has had a traumatic childhood is more likely to self harm, than anything else and more often than not, will have deep empathy for others. The behaviour of serial killers is excused by the " bad childhood" narritive too. What shrinks would call psychopathy, is actually demonic possession. That doesn't have to look like the exorcist. Satan is behind every bit of evil. We have free will and people chose to take a life for no other reason than it gives them pleasure.

There’s absolutely no excuse for such atrocious behavior. I had a rough childhood but I knew I wanted things to be different when I became independent from the toxic environment. Nine separate violations of his house arrest! That’s absurd. In Australia if you violate your bail or your probation you get instantly arrested and thrown up against a judge to explain yourself. You literally can’t get bail on a breach of bail conditions. And he had 29 charges at 16 years old too, so he should have been in prison, not house arrest. The US is failing in so many ways.

It's not an excuse, but an explanation as to how someone can end up capable of committing such horrific crimes like this. They do not value life the same way you or I do. It's tragic all around. Of course the biggest tragedy is the loss of Nathan's life. But until we as a society step in to make changes within these cultures, this will continue.

It's more likely that he had a stern talking to by the judge who wanted to give him a chance to change. Unfortunately, he was given way too many chances. This is not a “botched robbery.” This is a thrill-kill homicide with robbery as a pretext, like many such shootings, especially those involving juveniles who have faced scant penal consequences for developing their criminal careers.
Juvenile-enacted violent crime is up all over the U.S. yet again, including in my area. A group of teens in the neighboring county recently tried to stage a hit job on another minor on a freakin’ school bus ffs but lucky for that target and the delinquents, the gun jammed. With enough of these types of cases, the pendulum tends to swing hard towards tough-on-crime laws/policies, even regarding defendants who are minors. There’s also a growing movement for adults who allow minors access to firearms, including assault-type weapons, to be held criminally culpable, which I am all for.

Wow. What a sad sad story. To know that he and his wife were a happy, loving couple excited to meet their daughter and embark on a new journey as a family and have his life taken for absolutely nothing just doesn’t make sense. He was praying his rosary when it happened?!? I just can’t imagine
and for that kid to have been arrested for 29 serious crimes and to be out after only serving 50 days total for all of them is ridiculous. Seems they treated everything lightly which of course gave that 16 yr old kid the feeling he was untouchable. When he finally murders two people for no reason then they take it seriously. Really?!? Too little too late! The kid was running wild and the justice system kept slapping him on the wrist for what? He’s a juvenile? They need to put a limit on the number of crimes a kid can commit somehow to be considered to be treated as an adult for crimes so the severity of punishment is actually punishment. Now in 2023 the crime rate is higher than ever and the justice system is even more lax on punishment. If you watch the news you can plainly see it. Murders, robberies, car jackings, shootings, shop lifting
then to find out the perpetrators are repeat offenders who should have been incarcerated is infuriating! I hope Jennifer and her daughter are living the best life and that nothing so true ever happens again. Rest in Peace Nathan ❀

What it is beyond comprehension is the fact that the probation officer, criminally neglecting his duties, got away with just quitting his job.
On top of it all, this troubled kid will come out of prison by the time he is 45 with a master degree on how to be a better criminal, if he doesn't get killed in there due to his violent behaviour.
All and all , Nathan is gone for ever and another young person wasted his life.

Killed this man and shot another hours later? A serious danger to society. Absolutely senseless death

Why the hell was he walking the streets??? He should have been locked up and the key thrown away. A completely avoidable death, yet again.

Very unfair that he survived. Especially blood-boiling seeing him laughin' it away in&out of the courtroom 😡

I’m somewhat a nerd and analytics guy and I noticed that the majority of your videos have at least 1/2 the number of views (or more) of your entire channel subscribers. Where most other channels have 1/8 to 1/10 of their subscribers actually viewing their videos. Kind of random thing to say but it is impressive to say the least. Keep up all that you do and how engaging your videos are đŸ’™đŸ™đŸŒđŸ‘đŸ»

I am quite the avid ‘true crime’ addict and have learned of so many atrocious cases- but this is SO bittersweet 💔. RIP Nathan and thankyou Lord , that his family are steeped in strong faith . They have coped so graciously , when I , like many others, would have been left bitter , twisted and never seeing any light ever again .. ❀from N.Ireland ❀

My condolences to the wife and daughter and his family and friends. I'm sure he will be missed and never forgotten. Life can be cruel, that's for sure... We just have to keep going and not let the pain and grief consume us. We have to find the reason that keeps us going.
