Thank you to everyone who subscribed to our channel. We are from Ceará Brazil and we broadcast Sinuquinha games
he's always stealing the pocket
*None of the announcers showed up so they just went with these 2 guys?*
Ref must be a svb fan...
a beawtiful game congrat guys
two-rail 8-ball
Thrilling game!
"it's not a game"
Why do most announcers feel they have to predict each move the player will make? Must be an ego thing to show what they think they know. When they start doing this, I just turn the volume off.
This comentator is nuts, "look at his eyes, like a shark! Hunting for.. .. ..the meat"
me too
I hate how the judge says 'granted' like the extention is a request....no I'm telling you not asking
I think we'll be seeing Wu Kun LIn again. He's very impressive.
,,YES,,,,,,,,,,,,He was born in Hobart....Tasmania of all places.....
so he really is an' AUSSIE.....
Top 😅😢😢
baianinho numa mesa dessa faz chover
saludos desde Venezuela
wow
I like the commentators

C'est beau luxembourg champion in 10 ball 2016 💪
Never saw SVB so emotional.
@35:52 On PC if you pause and use the comma and period key, you can go back and forth by seconds. I don't think that was a foul.
It wasn't even close to a foul. What a horrible call by the ref.
ok, do not shoot me for this, but if you watch the slow-mo, the stripped ball was moving before the seven even hit the rail. also, look at where the cue would have hit the stripe if it were to have caromed off the seven first. If the cue did hit the seven first then it would have caromed into the stripe pushing it away from that short rail instead of into as it did. The video is too close to call it, but we can infer by the ball's movements after the hit that it did hit the stripe first meaning foul shot. Look at 30:54 a carom of the seven there would hit the 13 away from short rail, not towards it like it did. 13 was too high up to get caromed down the way it did. im 95% sure
@@desyquintero8451 go to the TOP DOWN VIEW at around 36:05. Go frame by frame by using the PERIOD key. Because this video is NOT 60FPS you will have to hit the period key 2 or 3 times for every visual frame to update. If you go frame by frame you will 100% conclude that the 7 was hit first. If you are not going frame by frame then you are wasting your time. We all are looking at the same video and same number of frames so there really can't be any disagreement between us. We are lucky that the one single frame in question (which reveals the truth) has the 7 ball blurry(meaning it is in motion) and the 13 ball completely NOT blurry AND frozen to the cue ball meaning the 13 is either NOT moving or not moving as fast. The distance on this frame between the 7 ball and the cue ball appears to be about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch which also suggests it was hit first.
With that said after reviewing it again I have concluded that the call was not as horrible a call by the ref as I first thought. It was close but in the end the 7 was hit first.
@@THE_CHOAS_ENGINE holy shit !! You are correct. That frame by frame was AMAZING !!!! Thanks for the lesson sir !!!
@@desyquintero8451 did not matter much but the rule is doubt goes to the shooter no way could the ref be sure it was 13 hit first
Great video!
Love the tangent line template. I might copy this to use at League when I am called to coach on a timeout.
That rail was lively.
Very reactive I saw it
hilarious commentary
@36:06 ... PAUSE the video ... then hit the . button (looks like the > but without holding shift) and you can see that the 7 absolutely 100% moves first. Does it make a difference..? I highly doubt it. But, Wu's facial expression reveals a guy who doesn't throw a lot of tantrums ... accepts that refs make mistakes ... but tells me he has ridiculously good vision and knowledge of the physics. Bc his face says he absolutely knew it was a good hit.
SVB is very cool under pressure and a true champion. He came back from behind to win the match even with no balls going in at the break. Its so informative to watch him, Wu Kun Lin also played really well Lots of careful precision in his stroke.
shane is one of my favorites to win any match really, but I think he could benefit from doing some push ups often.
I thought he was a gym rat, super-fit ?
🤣🤣
The ref made a good call😮😊😊😊
36:10 a toddler would know that was not a foul lmao, what the f are these refs and commentators
@26:57 that was chronic ! jus one rail nearest camera n its in !....... even i can hit that or gimme 3 tries al pot that n i'm no pro !
Their breaks look so effortless 😮
super fast cloth, all new equipment, it is pretty effortless
man the break of Shane looks like he would knock down a 50 inch thick brick wall....
Shane was really laying into the break.
@Daniel ScarelWhat does the floor carpet have to do with their pool breaks? Lol
@@AstrixCloud the players could be carpet enthusiasts 😂
WHAT SIZE TABLE IS THIS grrrrrr
LAWAN TEMEN SAYA NAMANYA SI CONGE.. DIA JAGO SE SERANG
i dont know pool but kun lin reserve to kick the ball that was on the curshin when the position was right and went for middle balls instead of seeing them later, the same ball he reserved gave the game away to shane.
It is interesting to see 8ball from the pros they make many pattern mistakes and are missing balls due to touchy shape required just like us amateurs on league night
I miss Toby Robles in the Commentary booth. He is really a value-add to the understanding of every aspect of pool including strategy. He enunciates well, volume steady - he's easier to hear and understand. He also has some humor or funny story which is a nice thing to sprinkle into the show.
I agree, these two commentators sound like they have marbles in their mouths and the content of the comments are trite and boring. They both stink.
----- BRING BACK TOBY......BRING BACK TOBY........BRING BACK TOBY........
Errrr!,,,,,who is Toby,,,,???????
Wow. Shane could have easily been down 5-1 and in the chair.
I wonder if Shane likes fishing 🎣
GG
tough day but nice come back
Anyone knows where the Kevin Chang? Great player.
He is recovering from brain surgey that is what I heard.
VAN the man......
WOW!: nothing
the slug racks in this event were unreal.
I wouldn't call them "slug racks", the balls had plenty of movement and action, its just that nothing was going in.
37:27 umm, we're what??
5:05 Shane doesn't even wanna look lol
Why did they stop the timer at 7:57
Cool game!... well done SVB👍. that young fella put up a good fight he has the heart of a lion and we will be seeing more of him in the future👍🎱
Thanks, no need to finish now!
😢
1:20:56
Wtf? Lol
The commentators make me feel like I'm watching an episode of Count Duckula(ffs)
I like to watch people like Kim Davenport after he runs a rack. He doesnt lightly roll the balls down to the racker, he goes into Nolan Ryan mode.😂
5:08 "look at Shane , not even looking" 🤣
😂😂😂😂
I think both players are frustrated with the table conditions.
35:50 I cant believe that in both the close up and the slomo replay they cut away before we can see what happens to the 8 ball. Cameramen got me furious
Commentators are acting like sone shots are luck they are not it’s call pocket and they are pros
Commentary by Mark White was okay. What I could have done without are the mostly petty and sometimes ridiculous remarks by Marcus Chamat.
Minute 36 it wasn't a foul, he touched the 7 first
35:52 , was not a foul !!!
I zoomed in and watched it 10 times. I believe it was simultaneous which means it is a foul. They should have an auto slow mo challenge tho for these tournaments
@@sub_second_life3174 actually a simultaneous hit is NOT a foul. It goes to the shooter the same as a tie goes to the runner in baseball.
@@JeffKernsTheArtist well isn’t the shooter always going to say no foul? dumb rule. Simultaneous means same time so means foul. You always have to hit your ball first!!!!!!!
@@sub_second_life3174 When I say that it goes to the shooter I mean that if the ref thinks that it is simultaneous then the call goes to the shooter. Regardless if there is a debate and the sitting player didn't call for a hit call then it still goes to the shooter. Those are the rules. Maybe you will still think that it is dumb. There has to be some sort of tie break for close calls. As for now the rules favor the shooter.
Tie goes to the shooter. It's in all the rule books.
the commentator who questioned SVB's enthusiasm for the game surprised me! After five US OPEN wins and more than several other championships and more than enough PRIVATE money matches to make him a MILLIONAIRE, who is that guy to question Shane's - what?!!! - enthusiasm? Dude, do half this stuff and ask again!
So you mean this is the best two announcers we can get for this?
Like there isn’t anyone else in the building? Janitor, judge, ref, waitress?
What’s wrong with them?
no shit....
I think they are good. Whats the problem?
nah “what’s your favourite colour” they hate eachother 😂
Yeah they are just there to provide voice of people saying anything, no analysis or insight of any value and they add some unneeded oohs and ahhs if someone misses. I'd prefer silence if you can't get someone like Jeremy Jones or Robles or Feijen.
South Dakota kid
48:40 "What a moment to break good" - Marcus Chamat (2022)
These guys are the worst lmao
haha, the Koala d-b.
I don’t think Shane likes those predator tables no balls on the break looks like those rails way different from diamonds
Does anyone know what type of chalk Shane uses?
25:36 POW!
Ref was a joke how did he call foul on Wu in rack 6 for hitting stripe first
That was just unfair and poo judgement
Yeah. Mistakes happen
It was a good hit, but it was damn hard to tell without slow mo frame by frame.
I know right? The slow-mo clearly showed that he hit the 7 first.
That fucking burger said”doesn't matter” what the fuuuck🤬
Kun Lin plays nice, but he needs to pay attention to his pattern play, it's killing him
"hes finish right?"
"yep, its all over"
😂😂
I don't think either one played their best game. Seems like they took the hard way in every game
Predator tables blow
You can tell players are annoyed with them
Pool on TV 30 years ago was so much funner because all the players were characters. lol
Modern pool probably has more talent than ever - but it sure is drab to watch.
Does anyone know of any new guys who are loud as hell, talking crap the whole time?
Couldn't agree more.
Shawty in the background tho 😏
Is the camera drunk?
After minute 36:10, if you slow down the video, you can see shane movin the white ball with his stick, Am I wrong for thinking thats a no no?
He had ball in hand. So technically he can used the cue to re-spot the cue ball.
SVB is Like LBJ people just wont give them their dues but you know for me they are the GOATS of my generation and Im sure in 20 years another 2 will come along and the debate continues
AGREE😆😆
"I'll have them _______ voting democrat for 50 years."
@@jamest3552 different lbj but that one you mention was 100% correct.
@@somepeoplecanthandlethetruth
unfortunately
Lyndon Blaine Johnson?
I love the fact that there are other disciplines than 9 ball being made available on youtube. As much as i like 9 ball, 8 ball is a great game and it would be a pity to have that forgotten due to matchroom pool and their decision to focus on 9 ball only. that is rather ignorant, in my opinion...how about 14-1, how about banks, how about carom, how about english pool?
all that would be an unrealistic commercial undertaking.
Shakey Shane, throwing shade 😂
Lol @ commentary
These commentators are a joke, don’t comment on SVBs weaknesses, if he’s still on top, etc. when you don’t even know that he’s the South Dakota kid.
45:50 dude, be careful.
35:52. The 13 ball was definitely hit first driving it forward. Had the 7 ball been hit first the 13 would have been sent up-table. The Ref's can always tell which was struck first by the direction they head. This is something they train on. The 9 ball could not have gone in the direction it did unless it was kissed first.
nope no foul see above 5 replies
8 ball rules suck wish Black ball rules were more popular
Shane's nickname is, "The South Dakota Kid".
Can someone tell me what size tables they are playing on.
Seriously lol 9x4.5
What "3-foul rule" is the announcer referring to at 3:13?
3 consecutive fouls means you lose the frame
@@procrastinator6902
I’ve never heard of that rule existing in 8- ball.
Can you cite an authoritative set of rules that has the 3-foul rule for 8-ball?
@@crondawg101 I know it exists in UPA rules but don't know about rulesets outside of those. In any case, players regularly agree to certain stipulations or variations of rulesets.
If you watch Shane's break, you will see a much longer "follow through". It is what I have been saying for years.
Its also something with his timing. He just gets it right almost every single time. A giant follow thru and a perfectly timed swing
He's breaking very different from his 9 ball break. On his 9 ball break he hits it softer, but more accurate. In 8 ball he is really hitting it as hard as he can.
So? You saying you can take an avg breaker & if they follow through for 6' they'll break like Shane?
Anything else you can describe about ALL the players, in particular those of slim stature who break powerfully?
What SVB, Varner, Luat and most who break as powerfully as they do (and what Strickland can't do)..?
Many of which (eg Varner doesn't even realize) that their final stroke (the hit) is side-arm, just as Shane does.
@@trumanhw They get their power from standing up on their final stroke and using their shoulder instead of just their elbow. It makes for a longer lever which will move the cue faster, the long follow thru is probably just a result of using their whole arm from the shoulder instead of just the bottom half of their arm. You are right that the long follow thrun does nothing, the shot is over by that point, the cue is no longer touching the cue ball.
Wu with a slop shot to win rack 5. It's a good thing Shane missed some shots or this would have been a spanking for the little boy.
kun lin goat
1:23:59 was no foul
5:08 😂
I slowed it down, that foul was unacceptable, he 100% hit the solid first
41:16 "He's not the real Slim Shaney at the moment" ???? wow lmao
These commentators are awful lmao
Not bad but the ref needs a tighter shirt. : )
🤣🤣
The referee saying "granted" is redundant given they already repeat "extension" in acknowledgement to the player. An extension is a right, not a privilege therefore requires no granting. The referee, by repeating "extension" OR saying "you have none", is all he/she needs. Stop with the granted business. It's just pointless and one more distraction to the players.
anyone able to tell me the size of the table?
4 1/2 x 9
Shane seemed overly tired here.
