Geo, you didn't ask him how he ended up supporting Leverkusen especially when you take into consideration the effort and financial costs associated of being a season ticket holder who lives in the UK

Interesting to hear from a British Leverkusen fan. I enjoy watching their team very much. I see some people jumping on this guy's back & calling him a glory hunter but Leverkusen are hardly a glory hunting team. They've never won Bundesliga before & it wasn't that long ago that they were nearly relegated.

I think Leverkusen will smash West Ham. They are over the moon this season. They can win their first ever german championship this weekend. Playing great football and they have a fantastic team spirit. Xabi Alonso was not only a worldclass player, he is on the best way to become a worldclass manager. I personally would be very surprised if West Ham get through this. But everything can happen.

More glory watching WHU until now. Donkeys years ago when they were last good they were renowned for coming second.
Pretty easy to get to, fly or train from London to Cologne, games always on Saturday at 1530, cup games in the week. You can book your match tickets and transport cheaply months in advance. Better atmosphere in most German grounds too!
It's so much more difficult to watch WHU living in Germany than the other way round.
