Good job getting those rolls! LOVE searches where I have to learn new varieties :-) Thanks for the video!
As far as Quarters go you should save the 2009's as well!
Ethan, they tend to be worth more than other quarters
@Ethan Shouts all denominations in 2009 were low in mint making them harder to find
@@joeydoscher8560 One time I found a whole roll of the 2009 pennies! I wondered if there may have been a collector who had a bunch of then and decided to make a full roll of them.
@@trailcamcritters1431 crazy find!
Great Video! Thanks for the awesome hunts! I just had a super epic quarter Hunt, video just dropped!
Thank you for your videos. I'll be purchasing these placemats as soon as possible. I love your videos and have always been into searching coins. I've had a huge collection sense I was younger and lost everything a few years ago. I've been working my collection back up recently. I'm excited to get my collection back up.
Thank you! I am really sorry to hear about your collection but I'm glad to hear that it didn't stop you from collecting and building it back up!
I recommend looking for the Wisconsin high and low leaf varieties. They'd be on the left of the corn stock!
True
Quin is one of my favourite youtuber.
Hey Ryan love your videos. There are a few variety's I know to look for with quarters. I did notice that you skipped over the Homestead quarters. You should check for the leaky bucket or snow on the roof variety's. Also the 2014 Everglades quarter has a slight variety with the wing of the bird. I'm not as familiar with this one as I am the homestead quarter. Hope this comment helps you out!
I honestly like these variety hunts more than box hunts. You have more things you can find.
Just finished the first episode earlier. Hope you get just as good coins
I have had similar issues getting coins - have you tried another bank? I went to a new bank myself when they held me to 10 rolls of each variety and the new bank said that they would order anything I wanted (including halves). Opened a new account today!! Will let you know if it doesnt play out as planned.
Love your videos, Quinn
I'm from Michigan and I primarily hunt pennys. My daughter since the age of two can spot a Canadian coin would always yell Canuck 😆
The coin shortage is crazy!!! Ludacris if you ask me
I'm new to proactive coin hunting. Do you ever receive a box of ALL newly minted coins from the Bank...Or do you ask for circulated coins.
He probably checks before he takes them home
You skim over the Homestead quarter. Not looking for the "leaky bucket" or "snow" on the roof?
I’m pretty new to quarters and still have a lot to learn! What should I be looking for on the homestead quarter?
@@QuinsCoins 2015 Homestead: 1. Abnormality below the bucket. 2. DDR pump handle 'reflected' in the window in the background. 3. Cuds above the roof looks like snow on the roof.
I was thinking the same thing.
Love the videos! Just found your channel. You have a very soothing voice and I appreciate the content! As someone looking to start coin roll hunting, once you finish do you just take the coins back to the bank?
Take them back to a different bank than you get the coins from. Some require the coins rewrapped, others have systems where you can just return the coins in a box.
Awesome video! I scored a 499 on my first nickel box using your cool point system! Yes you read that right, 499! The box included 10 war nickels and much more. Your mats are awesome. I appreciate your attention to detail and your communication through the shipping process. Highly recommended!
great hunt need to do one myself
I love this show
Great video!
big like for this great hunt 👍
Good video Quin, have you ever found the 1988 " Double Ear" Lincoln cent? (Lincoln appears to have a second ear lobe below his ear)
love ur vids btw. and I have a question. I'm drifting away from coin roll hunting, but dont really want to. any tips to keep the hobby fun?
For me, it’s all about mixing it up! Look at different denominations, and involve other people if you can! Competition hunts are always fun 👍🏻
@@QuinsCoins I always involve my friends, they are helping alot! It sure is fun to have your friends join in.
I pull out all of the territorial quarters because there all low mintage even the DC quarters
How did you get individual coin rolls? Also can you ask a bank for old penny rolls to get wheat pennies?
Quin keep it up your awesome
America the Beautiful quarters are more valuble than state quarters and are way more low mintage.
Hi 🙏
Good Morning Quinn, can you tell me how you set up your camera to view as you demo in this clip
Sully
What all do you keep besides the obvious ones, like silver, very low mint date. Whats the limit on amount minted before you don't even keep it? If its not really low mintage but really good condition do you keep them?
At least you get Philadelphia coins I'm in Texas and they are difficult to find here.
lol I'm in NY and I cannot find Denver coins at all
Do you check for errors
Don't forget the Counterfeit Henning nickels. These were produced in 1939, 1944, 1946, 1947 and 1953. The 44s are easy to spot because they have no mint mark but the others need more attention to find them.
I have a 1949 nickel with no mint Mark is that good?
In a collector's sense yes its good because of the age. Although if you had a 1949-S that would be a semi-key date
It's pretty common! A 1949 P is probably worth 10 in my opinion!
@@mrturtleturtle7878 the nickel I have is 1 or 2 dollars I think
@@drizzo7650 On PCGS yes, but it's only worth what a collector would pay! Plus, collecters would probably only pay $1 at most, mayber even 75 cents.
My bank limited me to 10 rolls, but they said they can order me a box at any time, so I ordered a box and it should be here within the next week
HI LOVE YOUR VIDS
Fun Fact: A person who collects coins is called a numismatist.
A video on coins that are slightly above face value that most people skip would be something id like to see
hmmm.. i wonder what you found.
Tough rolls
Yep, not the best 😕
@@QuinsCoins man last videos was awesome
20:28 Buffalo nickel
Hi Quin. Do you have a site that I can send a photo to you. I don't look out for error coins bc I feel that my chances are zero to none. This 1959-D Jefferson nickel obverse stood out!
what's your thoughts on the mint not producing pennies anymore after 2022 or starting with 2022
I don’t believe that this is actually true
third? Why do people do this..
The real question is, why do people that don't know why people do this, watch videos of this?
@@rtotheizzle no, they meant why do people use the 'first' 'second' terms in comments.
@@rtotheizzle They mean say “first” and stuff on videos
I have a 1943 penny with out a series letter underneath year. What do think? Like your ideas .
It depends, if it is steel, then it's common, if it's copper and doesn't stick to a magnet it's rare! Also, it's called a mint mark, where the coin was minted, no mint mark means philadelphia, if its a steel cent than it's pretty common! But stuff like that depends on the condition! How would you describe the condition??
I have a 1974 half dollar with no mint mark how do I find out if it's worth anything
Your half dollar is worth 50 Cents, unless there is anything really weird about it, it's really common! I don't know of any DDO's on that year and mint mark!
I got some old wheat Penney's are they any good
Quin, I found a 1970 s nickel. It looks new. Do you want it? You can have it if it will help your collection.
I got 50 serious coins they got the coin
How do you get such a variety in your coins?? I went to my bank and got 5 rolls consisting of ONLY 2020-P Salt River Bays!
Do you look for the 2005-D speared bison nickel?
good hunting
What’s going on with Michigan today
There is a reserve error on the Minnesota state quarter next to the forth tree and the 5th tree from the Minnesota symbol there can be a extra tree
Ive had No Issues with getting Boxes anyone else not having issues?
20:22 isnt that a buffalo after the 1964?
Nah that’s a 2005 bison, not worth anything.
That was a real nice looking 1983 i hope you saved it
1975s are pretty rare.
I did my first coin roll hunt ever yesterday! I bought 2 rolls of 50 pennies, but I found nothing rare AT ALL, I was close, I got a 1999 I thought was a Wide AM but, it was a close AM sadly, therefore, worth 1 cent. :(
How much are the 2019-2020 worth? Why are you saving them
He saves the W mint ones only because they are rare and have more value
Michigan here also
I find this strangely satisfying so I checked some old coins I had in a jar and lo and behold I found a wheat penny from 1927 nothing unusual about that you may think thing is I live in the uk I also had other coins that no longer exist
DC his a DD on the back where the lettering on the piano
Hi Quin I have a 1878 lady one dollar coin I'm very new at all this what do I have I also have a1923 one dollar lady coin please tell me how to go about knowing and how much are your coin guides hugs
Those are silver, look up the date to see the exact value.
They are called Morgan dollar and Peace dollar
Good job 👍🏼so far but sorry I have got to hit the rack, feeling a bit "Sleepy Joe". 🥱😂😴
Tried to order some of your mats but your checkout link is broken
Hi John, I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues placing an order. Could you provide me with some more details? Which placemats were you trying to order and what was the issue that you ran into?
@@QuinsCoins When doing the all three option and clicking the buy now it was providing a 543 error, That seems to have resolved as I just tried again and it is working.
Okay, thanks for letting me know! Just to confirm- your order did go through and I received it a couple minutes ago. Thank you! You’ll receive an email from me when your package ships 👍🏻
Are the pre 82 pennies worth keeping w the price of copper increasing
I just keep it because its actually a copper penny where as newer ones are zinc
At 20:22 wasn’t that a Buffalo?
Nope, that is a 2005 bison nickel. Similar design, but not what we are looking for!
How do u take back all the non silver coins??
Quin, do you think with this coin shortage that they might be possibly bringing stashes of older coins back into circulation? Kind of a wild idea but it's crazy the amount of older coins I've been finding lately and in such good condition! I went through 10 rolls of nickels yesterday and found 4 buffalos! Love the vids man, keep it up!
You might be right, Because everyone is short on change.
Find any silver?
@@i.o.u.4195 I've just been going through pennies and nickels so no sliver. Lots of wheaties and older nickels tho!
@@nmbassy 👍
I think u said customer rolled has a better chance of silver than machine. Why is that? Wouldn't customers notice silver as they were rolling?
I have 1960-1969 Mr Nigel Mr Lincon Mr Luswel 200-240 coins. in yu Tuep every clip I have .
Hopefully we have another bat west point quarter 3. 2. Add appears
What do you DO when not playing with Coins ??
How much would a 1965 silver dime be worth?
EDIT-. Sry, I was referring to the '65 that he found in the video. I had to rewatch it to find out myself. I don't know why I wrote it like that. Cause it was a dumb way to say, I'd had to weigh it and make sure. I thought there were a few already discovered. But, I could be wrong.
They didn’t make silver dimes in ‘65
@@oganesson7255 is it impossible one could exist? I think my question was about the one he found that looked like silver. Was it worth weighing it.
@@marcor8278 would be a wrong planchette error I suppose so probably thousands if you find one unless it’s a proof because they make them that way sometimes
Hey Quin : What do you do with your no date Buffalo nickels ?
He probably tries until he sees one or uses nic a date
I could never find a silver nickel from WW2 damn
I could have swore I saw a buffalo nickel
Fellow Michigander
Where might someone go to purchase to roll quarters dimes Nichols and pennies
I am in California it is extremely hard to find Philadelphia coins
Are there small and large dates in 1970?
Are pre 60s good? I have tons of pre 60 nickels.
Some pre 60's nickels are good because they are Semi-key and Key date coins like the 1950-D. Also collectors will keep any pre 60's nickels because of the age. Hope this helps you out! P.S go through your stash and look for these Semi-key and key dates.

"there's no hope for silver in here"
*Skips 1962 quarter*
Time stamp?
I have a 2000d dime tarnished on the obverse & brilliantly shiny on the reverse anyone ever seen this?
I have never found a steel cent in a coin box, but I found some at my bank. This was almost a year ago. I was cashing in some coins from the sorter machine and I saw some white pennies in the tellers's rack. I played dumb and asked "are those Canadian or something?" She looked and said no they look like pennies, so I bought them for 1c a piece. There were 15 of them.
Damn gg! Those are incredibly rare in circulation nowadays!
I’m down south and I occasionally find a KG VI Canadian and I find a few Canadians per box.

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
I don't know how to go to description link to order. Can you please send me your mailing address so I can order your coin guide I'm not very iPad savey thank you
Great you coin roll hunt but I think with the influx of you tube channels showing coin roll hunting results will actually start to hurt chances of getting good finds - it encourages more people to look and pull good finds.
2 cent
If people are looking into coin hunting to make money find somthing else to do. No one is going to pay anything for really any coin that's been circulated, the smallest damage destroys the value unless you got it minted and has been sitting in a case it's basically face value. This is literally all for personal collections and fun. It's funny watching someone buy bulk and make like 15 dollars out of 20,000 coins
Yeah that’s true, there isn’t much money to be made. There used to be some in half dollars, but even that probably doesn’t cover your cost of gas to go pick them up/dump them. It’s just a hobby for the vast majority of people, not a revenue stream
wyoming has pooping horse di break on the horse but
I found my first West Point quarter yesterday, and on the obverse of it there was a perfectly circler scratch. I did some research and I think it is from the crimping press, but I'm not sure. Does any one have any ideas?
I found a 1946 wheat penny at school sticking out of the dirt. No mintmark though.
Pretty nice, to be fair a mint mark for that year wouldn’t have made a big difference.
Great video check out my coins on the coin cabinet
