Jeez robfindstreasure is going to be Jealous
hes been looking for that forever
Maybe Quinn should send RFT a few boxes of nickels lol
Quinn should give this beautiful 1950d to robfindstreasure.
Yeah. It might be a sign.
❤❤@@jeremiahsnyder2030I
RFT: (Opens up hundreds of boxes of Nickels, does not find an 1950-D)
Quin: (Opens about 25 boxes of Nickels, and has 2 1950-D Nickels)
RFT: What I have done to deserve this?
Me: Opens less than 10 Nickel Rolls after a year at just 14 years old, and pulls one in MS shape! 😂
I used to work in car wash back in 90s, found a 1950 d nickle cleaning the vacuums.
Pulled my 1950-D from my third full box of nickels. Pulled a shield mickel from the third roll I searched. Haven't seen either again...
I remember you found one before and rob was jealous back then, and he’s gonna be still jealous now lol. Great hunt and amazing finds!
I checked my pocket change after shopping today and found four keepers. An off-center 1969-P penny, a really good 2018-P Apostle Islands quarter, a 2009-P formative years penny, and a 2002 1 Euro cent commemorative with a flower and the words "ein euro cent." Best haul I've had so far this year
Nice! It’s always cool to find unexpected keepers in your pocket change!
Awesome to find that key date... WOW...1950! Denver Mint!!!
That is a very nice '50-D. Awesome find!
imagine if rob sees this he’s going to be jealous lmao
I got into coin roll hunting mainly because of you😊😅😂❤
I was just doing a small nickel hunt recently, opening up a roll out pops a v nickel reverse. I was freaking out because I am pretty new at coin roll hunting at this would be my best find. It was a 1910. So exciting!
might as well retire from coin roll hunting, gonna be hard to beat that :)
@@johnjenkins9445 yeah I quit now.
There’s a saying in the poker world that I think applies to your concerns in regards to penny coin roll hunting: “Volume cures variance” I’ve found in my coin roll hunting that I have to keep a large volume of coins rolling through or I too get discouraged. Congrats on the 1950D nickel as well as the silver dime!!
I still see about 15 to 20 wheats per penny box, and a TON of copper. So it's not dead in my area at least.
That is good to hear! I couldn’t believe how bad this batch of pennies was…at least it can’t get any worse! 😄
Very great start to 2024! Congratulations on the key date. It’s pretty nice quality too!
Great hunt Quin! That's an awesome way to start 2024.
Thank you Jack! I appreciate the support as always 😄
Great hunt. You are truly blessed.
Thank you!
Ordered your coin mats and appreciate your channel. Been collecting all of my change for 20 years and excited to see if i have any keepers
Great start for the year. Congratulations and continue luck. 👍
Nice... Congrats!🎉
Awesome find
congrats on the 50D as well as the silver. 2024 is looking up!!! Cheers
Quinn: *goes through many quarters and no W*
Me: *goes through one quarter and gets a W*
silly
That is a very nice looking 1950 d wow what a score
My 2024 started out pretty epic as well. Found 4 uncirculated sacagawea wounded eagles in the same roll from my bank. I have never gotten anything graded and have only been roll hunting for about 13 months. I was flippin out. Also dont have an ebay account but I am looking to grade with pcgs and sell on ebay. Gonna be interesting to say the least. If you have any pointers Quinn, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
That is sweet! It might be worth getting a second opinion at a coin shop before you decide to get them graded since it can be pricey. I believe the grading services also have a service where you can submit a picture for a fee and they will give you details + an estimated grade so you have that info before sending the coins in. Good luck!
@@QuinsCoinsgood advice. Did not know that. That's awesome. Thanks!
Nice 😊😊😊
I found a 50-D recently but it definitely looks nowhere near that good. So clearly not all of them were saved for a long time haha.
Happy new year
Thank you! Happy New Year to you too!!
It’s in nice shape!
Rob Find Treasure would be so jealous rn lol. Just realized that someone already said that...
CELEBRATION!!!!!!🥳
Man nice find on the 50-D. 👍
I just recently fpund a very well wore buffalo nicckel in a roll, and it got me back into coin collecting
bravo Quin's
Thank you!
Awesome nickel! I've been looking for years and the only time I found one was 3 years ago I found 4 of them in some customer wrapped rolls.
Oh wow, that sounds like some kind of collection dump. That must have been really exciting!
@@QuinsCoins yeah, I picked up about 150 rolls from a local bank, they were so happy to get rid of them and I found some awesome stuff. 38's and 39's too
This video inspired me stop at my local bank branch and purchase 5-rolls of nickels, all machine wrap rolls, not expecting much. First roll I got a 1980-S proof coin, I have one in my album, so I now have a spare. Managed to fill six holes in my album, 1956 Philly and the rest 2020+ P&D and a 1943-P war nickel for a spare. Made my day along with shoveling snow, LOL. May have to go to a different branch next week and get some more rolls.
I’ve found three wheat Pennie’s from coin roll hunting nickels. One was a 1957-D, and a 1939-S which was an ender, and a 1928-D I found just recently in nickels
Rob from Robfindstreasure might be calling you about that 50D 🙂 great find
Glad to see you back, you've gone from weekly shows to monthly?
More like every other week as of late, but I am working to change that going forward! I would like to get back to weekly
50 D nickels! Congrats. Never found a 50 D in a roll. Been coin roll hunting for 6 years now. Fortunately I did find a couple in a register over the last 14 years.
Great videos lot of fun to watch. I’m just starting out.
I just wanted to know your experience when getting rolls of coins from the bank, do they get annoyed when you wind up returning most of them after your hunt? And how do you avoid getting the same coins you returned next time you get more rolls?
Thanks
Lucky find! I searched for that nickel for 8 years and eventually just bought one.
Congratulations on finding a 1950D!! I found a 1950D this past November! Couldn’t believe there was still any in circulation. Bid on one on EBay several months ago but got outbid (by $1). I need 3 nickels (all silver war nickels) to complete my 1938-1961 album which I’ve been working on for 3 years.
I like to make complete rolls of bicentennial quarters and release them back into circulation. The only exception was the one silver clad S mint I found in circulation years ago
I have found two 1950D nickels in the last 4 years. Only 3 W quarters though one from a water dispenser machine. One 1996W dime. Two of the no FG pennies. That covers all the denominations. Great job man.👍
looks like full steps too! little damage on em though. congrats! rft's gotta be a bit jealous at this point. all in good fun though.
I’ve collected coins my whole life but not to the point where I buy rolls and check the dates on them. I reckon I was a passive collector but now I want to get a little more involved. I watched a CZcamsrs video and he recommended collecting 1980 and below. On this video you said 1960 and below. So could you give me the reasoning behind the date to collect from and below. My grandfather got me started by giving me 5 Walking Morgans. There is one 1943 wheat Penny. A penny from 1808 and a half penny from I think 1857. I’m thinking those are my best coins. Throughly enjoy your videos. Especially cause you get excited about your finds. Thanx for your help.
You do want to pull out the Harriet Tubman quarters, errors on those ones. In 2023 I found over 100 wheat pennies and 19 steel pennies.
Taunt Rob for me with that find
Quinn, try going to banks in the smallest towns that have a bank. They often have other unusual coin types also, likeIkes and kennedys.
Great idea! I actually met a bank teller who said she would let me know any time anything unusual comes in, including Ikes! I am sure small towns would be great for that type of stuff too!
16:58 I would have kept that 1972 quarter, it’s in good shape
How can I get those coin guides to help me get more information about the coins I have?
Hey Isaac! You can get them here: www.quinscoins.com
Thank you!
I recommend checking all your 2021 crossing the Delaware quarter’s for a die chip on the hat. They are more valuable the bigger they are. I have even gotten one in change.
Thank you for the tip! I do check for these as well and have found a couple of small ones- nothing major yet. That is sweet that you got one in change! I will keep on looking out!
It's funny how it works sometimes. I get all Denver-minted coins and have only found one 50-d in terrible shape. And you mostly get Philly right? Crazy.
Yep, particularly in the newer coins! I know folks out on the west coast who find S-minted Jeffersons way more frequently than I do too. I would have thought that after 70+ years, they would have been more well-distributed, but I guess not!
I have still never found a 1949-S though and I'm missing quite a few war nickels still
Rob finds treasure has been looking for a 1950 d ever since I found his channel. Actually, long before I found him.
I also got a 1950D today out my 1 roll, even better than what was in my book, replace that one! :)
What year r the sliver years for the dimes, quarters, and nickels..
Rob finds treasure is crying haha
I found 2 silver quarters in a Coinstar a few weeks ago
Do you re-wrap all the coins in your dump box or do you take them to a Coinstar or other coin counting machine?
I watched you search your nickels. What do you do with the low mintage coins you find?
I have never found the 50d but I did find the 39s nickel the other day
Did I miss the value of 1950D nickel you found? I happen to have several
You made this at 5 o’clock that’s normally the time that I get out of work. Jesus Christ amen oh, I am a CZcamsr so I’m technically not a CZcamsr because I make tick-tock’s. I really just do one CZcams shorts each month.
The Korean War broke out in 1950. BTW I was born that year also. I have been collecting coins since 1960+/- and I don't have a 1950-D nickel, maybe a dozen plain/Philly. Didn't pay much attention a few decades, life got in the way.
Wow, that's a lot of collecting! I wish I could travel back in time to see what it was like back then- you must have seen some amazing stuff over the years!
@@QuinsCoinsI wish I could say I was an active coin collector for all those years. My collection until about 20 years ago was mainly what I found in my change and could afford to save. I seldom brought a coin. I do have all of the silver AE series coins. I have three subscriptions at the U.S. Mint for the silver proof set and the "S" and "W" AE. That's getting expensive. I do have a good sample of foreign coins and currency, working in 13 countries on four continents. My Dad gave me coins from his foreign business trips. Plus, my kids have also gave me coins from vacations in Europe they have been on. I was going to get some Israeli Shekels this past holiday season, but my daughter and her family cancelled their trip.
Congrats on the '50 D......
Thank you Trevour, I appreciate it!
I feel bad for rob finds treasure😂😢😮😊
Rob is gonna be jealous 💀 don’t let him watch this
I’m sure he will find out one way or another 😆
send it to Rob, he needs it to complete book 2.
I found a 1924 D penny in a box last week
Going so fast and there are so many errors possibilities. It takes me forever to search even a single roll.
It's absolutely crazy to me that a buffalo nickel can stay in circulation until modern day, that being said I've found one In my till at work. It was all shiny instead of brown like the ones you dig.
My first penny box was all 2023 mint P with no vdbv error so got skunked rip
That's a beautiful 1950d it would be worth it to grade it
Dimes are boring, having said that it was the first album I completed. Working on an ugly dime set now. Nickels and half’s are where it’s at for me, quarters third.
My oldest nickel I have found was from 1940.
That nickel I texted him earlier is a 1958 d nickel kind of curious if it's worth anything
No halves or dollars?
lol
Got a 1958 p Nickel. MONTICE L LO
Where are the buyers
I wish you would tell what they’re worth
No 19e9
