Wow... I wasn't expecting to see this sort of video. Today I started to read JJK and it's definitely my new story crush I'm going to fangirl over for many long months 😂❤ I fell in love with the artstyle too. I remembered that people actually recommend redrawing pages made in your favourite artstyles so I searched for some cool page with Sukuna ❤ and started to draw it. It's really challenging, especially detailed backgrounds! But I would really want to figure out the way Gege sensei draws, at least a bit. I really like the characters' body proportions, heads and hands and also how details are made. I think I'll post a timelapse of this drawing and hopefully I'll take something good out of this super cool artstyle and adapt to my own works!

this is super helpful, even small breakdowns like this help me grasp things more. only question i have is, what pen brush do you use to get these kind of lines? it often looks a lot of times like you can see where the beginning of gege’s lines are because they have that little ink blot that happens when you first put down your pen, and i love that
Glad it was helpful! and i got the pen from the clip studio paint asset store and its called "simi pen"
In digital programs I think this brush is called Love Pen and/or Ink Pen (in Ibis Paint). In my case, since I don't have such a brush in csp, I only use Real G-Pen and I mimick the blots by just drawing them on my strokes. I think the result is almost the same like in the original drawing! 😊
I couldn't find the line art brush through "Simi Pen" but under "Symi pen kai" just in case you couldn't find it either.

nice video....one thing I would recommend for drawing on model is tracing 2 or 3 pieces quickly to get the strokes and line weights feel

Gege's art style is weird for me, the art style is inconsistent ( i udnerstand because of schedules like said in the video ) but if you compare volume 1 to 236, you can see the difference so much, it's a strange art style but good
