I had three days of leave owing, so I took two and went out for an overnighter on the Thursday and Friday, which was the subject of the previous video. This video is about the third day, the Monday when I took my wife over to Horseshoe Bay on Peel Island for a swim and a picnic on the beach.
I got a quick couple of hours fishing in at Southwest Rocks before the tide was right to head into the beach. That got me the bonus of a couple of nice pan size Squire (Snapper) for dinner and some fun catching some undersize Squire, Grassy and a Tuskie. Another great day on the water.

🤙🏼awesome
Its a good spot.
Loads of good tips and info there. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Thanks for watching, I hope it helps.
Another great video, thank you. I've heard of a new craze where you snip the gills in half with some scissors to bleed the fish better, I've always done it the same way you did. Always new things to learn!
Thank you. A lot of people just cut the gills without cutting the throat as well, I just think it is easier to cut all the way through. I guess it is just personal preference.
Loving your channel mate. New sub here from Hervey Bay.
Thank you. Welcome aboard!
What boat map thing are you using mate?
