  • Repair Nueva Simonelli Appia Compact Power supply
The coffee maker started to make some click click sounds after power up; one day it did not start any more.
Finally it turned out that a capacitor in the power supply lost its capacitance and caused the failure.
The capacitor in charge is closely located to the transformer on the pcb; it has a value of 1000µF, 35V
This video shows how to replace the capacitor

hello, our machine turns itself off when it is going to draw water at first start-up, after doing it a few times, I wonder if we change the capacitor, will the problem be solved?

      Hi,
you can see in the video that I replaced one capacitor, 1000µF, 35V. This capacitor is located close to the transformer.
