Romanian is exactly a Romanic language , however is really underrated , not very popular like Spanish or French
And yet I have met Ukrainians and other Slavs/Albanians/Greeks/Hungarians who claim it's super related to their language and will understand one if they meet one speaking in Romanian (shaking my head ,no!) What I do is I start comparing their language's vocabulary words and phrases to my Romanian to pweun these ignorant immigrants who personally grew up in farming and mining villages in East/Southeast/Central Europe that I have personally met
@@mypanexogamouslineage965 Romanian is a Romance language with some influences, mainly being slavic... Romanians understand about 50 to 80% of any other latin language and almost nothing from a slavic language or from hungarian, except maybe some words or expresions. In fact, linguists have stated that if you take out the influences (mostly slavic) from Romanian, you end up with a sort of typical south Italian dialect. What the hungarians and ukrainians actually try to say, is that they recognize in Romanian some specific words, which are actually loan words from slavic or hungarian, do to neighboring and such... but they can not understand the language as a whole, not even 20%! People often say Romanian is a Latin language spoken with slavic accent...
Romanian is not a romance language, is derived from dacian
@@andreizamfir4647 Romanian is Daco-Roman, and it is a Romance language in her structure in every possible way. Further more, linguists have observed that if you get rid of all the foreign influences (mainly being slavic) from Romanian, you actually end up with a "very" south Italian dialect! Now if you actually try to argue that Dacian is proto-Latin, that is another debate in itself...
You should steal something huge in Africa then you will be famous like them 😊
Romania is the richest country of the bunch, but when they here "the poorest country" they all say Romania 🤣
Slovenia is the richest by far in the Balkans. Greece has the second highest gdp p/c, but the hdi of Croatia and Romania is higher, and both seem to deal with economic issues somewhat better than the Greeks.
@@temporelucemtenebris5313 check out GDP/capita ppp which shows purchasing power.Romania is really close to Croatia and surpasses Greece and all the rest. You are right that Slovenia is doing way better, but he is refering only to people from the footage that said we are poor.
@@temporelucemtenebris5313 It's debatable whether Slovenia is a Balkan country though. Also you have to factor in the size of the population of each of these nations.
Greece is the richest of them all. Around 25.000 euros gdp per carita. Romania and bulgaria and turkey are around 10.000 per carita. And they do not have the euro currency which means they are inflation prone. They are not part of the eurozone as greece is
@@antek-vj5ey With all the love and respect to our Greek friends, Romania s Gdp nominal, gdp adjudted by prices (ppp) per capita have surpassed those of Greece.
Also, the Gdp per capita of Romania has risen to 18000 (for 2021), close to Greeces 22000.
Its debatable wheather Romania or Greece are în terms of economy the richest or that we are in the Balkans to begin 😅

In Bulgaria we don't even call it yoghurt - we call it sour milk aka ,,kiselo mlyako''. When we say yoghurt we think of Greek or Turkish yoghurt. And moreover, we are crazy about our ,,sour milk'', because it's just different in taste, and it is a great natural probiotic.
True! It does taste like sour milk. Less thick too
Yea we in serbia say it the same Kiselo Mleko🙂
I think the guy that established Danone made it popular. Because we in Bulgaria use it as medicine in some case he first sell it in drug stores and later start selling it in shops. And that's how kiselo mlqko become famous in the world. Thanks to Danone guy. :)

As far as hospitality goes i highly doubt that Greeks are the most hospitable nowadays. Previous generations of Greeks (currently 70+ y/o) were super hospitable for sure but not those who are younger and definitely no one who has been raised in Athens (which is practically half our population) or in major cities. Idk how hospitable the rest of the Balkans are tbh but the Greek stereotype of being very hospitable and friendly is not the case anymore.
When it comes to most attractive women i'd say Serbia for sure is first. So many gorgeous women. Romania or Croatia are probably second.
