It seems to me that their politicians want them to become with time poorer than northern european countries. Perhaps to make fertility rates in northern Europe bigger than in southern Europe. Which would be great, but it does not explain the fact that northern european countries import millions of people from Africa and Asia every year.

no,croatia and slovenia wanted to leave yugoslavia,we let them.but when bosnia came,we wanted bosnian serbs(50% of bosnian population and im one of them)in our country,to unite all serbs,but we got bombed and kosovo i took away from us(nato took it in 1999 with bombing and killing 3000 civilians),but we got entity called republic of srpska and we are free to go in serbia without passport,but we will unite one day,but i hope we will unite with montenegro,macedonia and republic of srpska again!

I would say it is, just with some Austrian influence due to proximity. They are culturally similar to Croats and Serbs.
The majority of Slovenia was part of the Holy Roman Empire / Habsburg monarchy / Austrian Empire for almost 1000 years.
And part of Yugoslavia only for about 70 years.
Historically and culturally, Slovenia has much more in common with Austria and other Central European countries than with the Serbs.
Except for the similar language - which the Serbs still mostly don't understand.

Kosovo is Dardania, it's just a different name given to the region by foreign invaders (Slavs). Just like how Israel and Palestine are two different names, but also refers to the exact same place.
