    Loving your work bro. I'm currently building a 3.0 running Sidewinder 3 and 6500kv motor. 45t spur 41t pinion yes I said that right. I'm flying right now running 2s.

    Nice runs, This is what i use for my hex and some loc tite because it does make the threads shorter but if you use the loc tite it will hold the wheel nut on. Traxxas Ford GT 4-Tec 2.0 (83056-4) Upgrade Parts Aluminum Hex Adapters 9mm Thick - 4Pc Set

    Not trying to be mr knowitall lol but making sure your tires are balanced is a big part of stability. I also recommend a more aerodynamic body and making sure the front of car is lower than the rear. Front of mine is 1/4in off the ground, rear is about an 1/8 higher. And I make sure all my tires are balanced before making a speed run. You can also buy/make suspension lockers for the front to keep it from rising up when you get on the throttle. Makes a huge difference

    If u buy the 45mm foam wheels and on a foam tire truer you cut off about 7mm of the inside of the wheel you will get your wider stance without even needing the hex extensions. Exacta knife with #11 blade works just take ur time and cut for only 3 seconds at a time so you don t catch fire. Also makes sure the wheel spins the proper way so the the blade is trailing the wheel as it turns. Also put the grey traxxas hex adapter on off the front of a rustler 2nd or the stampede 2nd since it’s wider, but the nut still has room on the stock axel.

    Got to get the Corvette to lose weight, in the middle, always get an RC scale to weigh balance and options to figure it out, that was almost a good run. (Grade B-)🏗️🤔☕👍

    Great Job, but that car has a lot of plastic parts that can’t hold up to those high speed crashes, but I feel you, cause I’m chasing that 100mph with my 4tec

    Instead of braiding thise wires you should just cut to fit and solder. Not only is shorter wire better but you'll save a few grams by cutting that copper off.

    • @GoKaioken
      @GoKaioken  Před rokem +1

    Wow man nice . But wondering y there ain’t a wheelie bar on your 4-tec. I have one on mine . And a aluminum chassis. I don’t fly or flip off the road . Also your mod 1 right . We have the same esc. Except I have a posideon motor. Have you tried using the castle link with your computer.?

    The hardest speed run is 10th scale,(except wltoys), whoever can make it straight is legend, it always went to the right, sometime it spun out.. BTW good built bro👍👍👍👏 and check out my cheap built 6s 10th scale redcat.. 👍 I've got 80mph PB but end up crash😅

    1515 might be a little too heavy 😅 I think a 1415 with either mmx or mmx 8s on a good 4s battery combination should get you alot more speed I think the idea you should try with the 4tec is get it to draw more amps. I'll give you this hint, run a parallel combination

    Having some trouble trying to get my 2.0 to go straight even at low speeds, took the Servo saver off turned on the car and 0 out Tsm, the wheels look pretty straight however when I turn it doesn’t look like the servo goes all the way back into the same position, I don’t know what is causing this but it’s frustrating

    • @GoKaioken
      @GoKaioken  Před rokem +1

      Maybe try an upgraded servo? I recommend Raz shiffrin perfect pass servo.

    • @itzzgraham
      @itzzgraham Před rokem

      @@GoKaioken purchasing the hot racing steering bell crank, there is a small crack where the servo horn goes into the part that steers the wheels, hoping that is what is throwing the car off ever so slightly to the right or left, I’ve tried multiple servo horn locations on the servo with the Tsm 0 out and still can’t get it correct, bought the hot racing metal servo saver as well, maybe the servo is going too that would explain why it doesn’t pull the wheels back to center all the way, however when I take the servo out, it steers both ways perfectly fine, even when I put a little pressure on the servo saver while turning it to imitate being connected to the servo horn and bell crank, super weird
