Zahlt sich deiner Meinung ein Wechsel von der Z900 auf die SF V2 in Hinsicht auf Motorleistung/Charakteristik aus oder sollte man sich hierbei nicht zu viel erwarten? Klar sind es zwei unterschiedliche Motorkonzepte aber gibt es leistungstechnisch einen spürbaren Unterschied? Vom Drehmoment her schenken sich die beiden Modelle nicht viel und die Z900 ist schon einer harte Nuss (Preis/Leistung) Schöne Grüsse 😀

      Ja, die SF ist ein komplett anderes Motorrad. Aber untenrum hat die Z900 sogar mehr Druck. Die Z ist stark, gutmütig und leicht zu fahren, komfortabel gefedert. Die SF ist nervös, explodiert über 7000 Touren und bretthart abgestimmt. Das muss einem schon taufen. Ein Wechsel macht dann Sinn, wenn du sozusagen das Gegenteil der Kawa erleben willst

    To me the Streetfighter is among the sexiests bikes on the market. Never rode one though.

  • @brucebillb
    @brucebillb Před 2 lety +2

    Hi Schaaf, I'm a newb rider and I just noticed your turn at 6:00 you were accelerating whilst having that much lean angle. For me I would never attempt such acceleration with the fear of my rear tire slipping and causing a lowside or worse a highside crash. Is this because you're confident of the bike's grip already that you're able to pull this off? Also do you normally do this on all bikes or only the very top performance bikes? I may also be 'reading' that turn and riding behavior incorrectly. Would love to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks!

    • @Blockbuster2033
      @Blockbuster2033 Před 2 lety +3

      generally you can accellerate much harder while being leaned over than you might think, however he did not accellerate that hard in the moment you mentioned. Also the bike he is riding has a pretty sophisticated traction control that would safe him. But it can generally be done on any bike.

    • @Schaaf
      @Schaaf  Před 2 lety +10

      This comes with time and practice. Just never push yourself. Always focus on riding a safe line. Speed will come later. You'll eventually get the feeling for how much you can accelerate safely

    • @joechang123
      @joechang123 Před 2 lety +5

      you are correct in assessing the risk of accelerating while leaned, but as other people have brought up, you *can* accelerate in a lean. when accelerating the weight of the bike settles rearward for the suspension, putting a greater emphasis on the contact patch of the rear tire (where the rubber of the tire actually meets the road). doing this asks for more traction out of the rear tire and typically when you see people accelerating during a lean and lowsiding, they are asking for more traction out of the rear tire than its physically and mechanically it is able to supply.
      proper corner acceleration technique comes with understanding the limits of traction your bike and tire are able to support and knowing the physics of acceleration on a motorcycle. as you accelerate out of a turn your bike will tend to want to stand up and go straight, so applying that to real world situation, only start really rolling on the throttle once you have an exit vector out of your turn, ie you can visualize the line out of the corner and see the exit out of the corner that you can go straight out of. slow, gentle throttle application through the turn can aid with maintaining your lean and speed through a turn. emphasis is on *SLOW AND GENTLE*. remember the principle of traction for your rear wheel against the ground and never break that contact patch.
      as you progress in skill try learning and applying the principles of trail braking to build confidence in corners. good luck!

    Does this bike get really hot ? I have seen a lot of videos of the panigale V2 where users have said the seat itself gets very hot and uncomfortable after a while since the exhaust pipe runs just below the seat. Since this bike is similar I'm curious how hot this one gets after a while.

    • @Schaaf
      @Schaaf  Před 2 lety +1

      You can't prevent the rear getting light when braking abruptly , that's why it starts to skid. I do it because it's fun. With more progressive pressure on the lever and getting on the rear brake before the front one you can prevent it to some degeee

    Actual bike sounds lower and deeper, especially of throttle. Intake sound is also missing here. About 40% volume of the real thing, I would say. I own the faired version. Same exhaust. 44teeth Jerez onboard for Panigale V2 is closer to real thing, but still muted. This thing is loud. Really loud.
