    Dear viewers! Just like the image unfortunately is very shaky you can also hear that the sound recording is not perfect. As stated I had to use different recording euipment. Some of the loud "bumps" you can hear are not coming from the bike. They are coming from the sound recorder which was moving around in its pouch. Sorry once more!

      No need to apologize. The loose chest mount actually provided a good visual “feel” of the upshifts and downshifts strangely enough. Good content as always.

    after seeing this video I came to the same conclusion as you. You were mostly always in 1st and 2nd gear, you rarely had the opportunity to ride it to the limit like one can do with bikes that have much shorter gearing like the super duke, zh2 which are more tailored to the street. I appreciate you making this video, I had bought a Multistrada V4 and was feeling buyers remorse with it because I wanted a SFV4 instead for more top end rush. What I didn't realize is that the added power is at very high speeds which are not suitable for back roads and tight twisties. I may keep the Multi or switch to a Super Duke or Streetfighter V2 then. Thanks again! Love your videos

    • @duckylucky6505
      @duckylucky6505 Před 2 lety +10

      Wrong. This bike is the best handling bike on twisty roads of the supernaked bunch. I've ridden all of them. It will happily ride around in higher gears @5-6000 rpms too. But yeah, it's loud. Not sure how Ducati got this past noise police. That must be a pretty new bike still in break in period, the orange on the tach was lighting up at 8K.

    • @Schaaf
      @Schaaf  Před 2 lety +4

      Thanks Juan. Nothing wrong with the Multi. In fact I'd also choose it over the SF.

    • @Poigel
      @Poigel Před 2 lety +8

      Thought exactly the same. This is just a dream bike, but not for anyone who wants to stay within the speed limits. And if you choose so, you never see the 3rd gear ever while riding it agressivly. Hopefully the V2 can give us the joy of another up- and downshift.

      Honestly you'd probably be better off with something lower powered than an SD or SFV2 if your intentions are to do a lot of canyon riding. If you're fine with having a second bike a used SV650 would be a perfect bike to add to your collection, and you could still keep your multistrada for other things. The Monster 797 is also good for this kind of stuff if you want to stay with a Ducati. If you want something new I've heard good things about the 890 Duke and new Monster, but you're starting to get into more horsepower than necessary territory.

  • @schemkesa

    Wow, just at 0:46 you think, go.... but then, no sight.... no overtake!!! good decision. I think you're one of the best (aka fastest and safest) drivers I see posting rides on youtube. I also had this bike for 1/2 an hour and couldn't agree with you more. This bike is insane. Never did I even dare to put it in race/sport mode. So much power...

    Love this channel bro, the bikes, the roads 🤩, your authenticity. Actually, I guess ...like an year ago, I got your video of the Interceptor 650 with zard exhaust recommended to me by youtube, I fell in love with the bike, before that I had no interest in motorcycles, the thought of buying one never crossed my mind, all I used to ride were scooters, but this year I bought the Interceptor and loved it (Already had an accident on it after 2 months of buying it because a dog jumped in front of the bike from the side of the highway when I was going at 80kmph, guess the bike will get fixed this week 😛) meanwhile I watched almost all of your videos, from years back... your crash, life updates, your struggles, your t-shirt selling and buying an SSD story etc etc... man I loved it. This channel is a very beautiful and interesting video diary of your life, keep inspiring us and uploading your quality content! Love from India ❤

Der Kraft-Vorteil vom neuen kommt erst im totalen Führerscheinverlustbereich und ist einfacher fahrbar. Bis 160 halte ich den neuen sogar für unterlegen.

As for no fairing its just the way I like it, I've never seen the issue. Fairing are handy for racing or long trips in the rain but otherwise you gotta be a pussy to need a fairing in my eyes. Schaaf!!! race mode next time, dtc and dwc off, make some adjustment from the custom setting, steering, dampening, as you see fit. oh yes, de-tune the main shock back 3 notches!(this tings come out of the box, duacti test team ready for track!) trust me you will be ripping, wheeling and big smile. At least, I do on my V4S.
