Stuck in Storm for many days How to deal with very rough seas

- My #merchantnavy ship ended up very close to #storm or #roughseas at Shanghai, which was hit by TRS ( Tropical revolving storm ) Chanthu and we were thrown out of berth with partly loaded condition and had to be in this rough seas for many days before it cleared and we re berth to load balance cargo.

My son is 31yrs old working as a Health & Safety Officer in middle east with NEBOSH & IOSH UK certifications, opted 10yrs exp. 12th PCM less than 60 his dream is to be a seamen is there any chance for him so I can fulfill his dream before I die.
You can check with BP Marine institute for UK certification, though this is an expensive option.

Now you guys have a technology to avoid storms and deviate from original route in advance. In old days, ships have no choice to avoid storms. Specially Atlantic sea was always terrible.
