@@MobinKiadeh i cannot disagree more with that sentence but to each their own.
One has to admire the quality and intelligence of all of Skavlan's interviews. Interesting questions and meaningful. Obviously Rick is the right guest for that and his statements, which he now luckily repeats a lot on many platforms, get the required and relevant coverage.
Thanks so much for your feedback, Carl. We appreciate it!
Thank f**k for people like Ricky Gervais.
The awkwardness of the interview is almost as funny as Ricky 🤣
Thank you to both of you.
"being dead is like those billions of years before you were born"
this shit haunts me when i think about it
That was paraphrased from Mark Twain aka Samuel Clemens.
what's there to be haunted about?
Can someone explain what it means? English is not my native language.
Yeah cuz you realize that you don’t really matter.
Why haunt you? Most people who die and are told they have to go back to earth, don't want to. They want to stay dead
The look on the faces of the two females when Ricky gets serious is priceless ! They are clueless .
@Selma Di Faria. I'm impressed by your conclusions about the two women after watching an interview with another person where they talked for about 2 minutes in a second language. Bravo!
@Selma De Faria...Some validity, but really not entirely accurate; too short an interview to judge their intellect, & plenty attractive celeb brains indeed exist such as Rosario Dawson, Zoe Saldana, Charlize Theron, Lena Olin, & Whitney Cummings to name a few...
As for any religious angle, they're all certainly bizarre, & nobody's perfect (except maybe Dwayne Johnson or Tom Hanks 😏), but Cruise definitely displays some sharp mental & acute physical abilities, & Travolta as well, along w/certified airline pilot credentials😎, so there's that👌🏼
@Selma De Faria the difference is Scientology is a laughing stock in the culture...these women have opinions that are dominant, therefore far more dangerous. They are just two of millions of influential people who hold them.
Selina excellent comment
@@zg6766 last 2 are gay end of.
It just goes to show that you can be fluent in a language and still miss 90% of what’s really going on in a conversation.
That one lady looked so clueless
@@sonpois no matter what was said.
That actress Ricky liked went from being his best friend at the start of the clip to mortal enemy at the end 😭
I mean, she's a Christian so her worldview about the afterlife and whatnot differs from Ricky's.
The office wouldn’t be allowed today. They have changed the rules!
I absolutely admire him. Even a couple of years after his oscars speech I still can’t believe he got away with it!
Ricky's comedy is on a whole other level to theirs they look scared to death
Just because you see thing ultra simply doesn't mean what your looking at isn't really complex/ you don't know any of them!
@@gentianharrison3992 Ricky is a comedy genius it wasn't a dig at the other people
RG is not funny but he does have a lot of sensible things to say.
Nah that was just the facelifts, and lip injections.
Swedes are scared of anyone who might be slightly right of communist.
Ricky is awesome. Calls them all out each year at the festival of detached souls, the oscars.
I don't fear being dead. It's the process of dying that I'm afraid of.
Well dead is inevitable. So why suicide?
@@iliaadamanthark8336
I think he means like the moments before death, like dying.
It happens before you know it!
I don't fear death, I just don't want to be there.
@@iliaadamanthark8336 suicide is basically saying i will end my journey on this ball flying around in space. I rather feel pain than nothing at all. I think the stupidest religions are the ones promising you crazy welt or some amazing king like life after death haahaha so dumb
"Extremism is threatening everything" - Ricky Gervais
Now that is an excellent quote, it is extremism on both sides that is threatening the future of the world.
The Twitter topic starts around 11:00 .
Thank you
thank you, idk why they named the video after it and put it at the end
People like Ricky make the world go round and then make it better place to live in, I don't think he has a bad bone in his body,
Ricky is cracking some great gags in this... Fredrik gets them every time, the girls less so.
It seems her brains went to her lips. Sorry.
@@Piaseczno1 I don’t think they can see him. It makes a difference.
I like Ricky Gervais! He calls a spade a spade.
omg your days are numbered. But I whole heartedly agree with you
SKAT PK easy tiger
Nah, he calls it a fucking shovel.
"...should be forced to use one". OFOW
8:45 and 10:45 perfectly sums up twitter, or any social media to be honest.
In re to hamsters: "Their testicles hang out the back...like they're shoplifting melons." 🤣😅🤣😂
Love RG so, so much! Very funny, candid, and genuine.
I'm an American, and I'm loving Skavlan great energy in every interview! Thank you guys
"16 and a half." "Oh wow, she was so old."
Meanwhile, my mixed breed garden variety outside cats eating garbage catfood all lived to 20+.
I believe you, but that's not normal. I've had cats all my life, the one that died recently was the oldest ever, and he was 17 / 18.
@@PiousMoltar To be fair, they all came from the same genes. The more recent ones died from health complications much sooner. Guess they were just strong stock!
@@PiousMoltar My husband's sister had a cat that lived until it was 22. I once had a neighbor who had a cat that was 25 and lived until a car ran over him. The oldest cat on record lived to 28.
i hope mine will make it to 30 😬😩
I always thought Ollie was male until recently. I like this host, he keeps it light and steers the conversation well.
Thanks so much for the feedback, Ryan! We're so glad to hear that you enjoy our conversations.
I found your show when searching for Kelly Clarkson. I subscribed because I really like your style of interviewing and how you allow your guests speak to each other and have opinions.
It seems like I can only find clips of individual interview. Where can I find full episodes?
Ricky Gervais always makes me laugh. This interview was a riot!
Gervis is just pleasant to listen to. And so funny.
I love watching this interview it's very different than watching interviews in America. I like the host is asking a question like he's getting halfway through it then he hears Ricky gervais you know just acknowledge what he was saying and he completely stops to see if Ricky your face has anything else to say or add to it before he finishes his question that is so awesome and polite I wish I could see more of it in American TV.
We're so glad you enjoyed our newest interview with Ricky, thanks so much for watching and commenting!
"People are lyers, they pretend it's because of what you're saying, but really they just don't want to hear it, because you're not on the right side". BOOOM!!!
@@DaleRC75 No, no, Lyres. They're always out of tune
It’s so apparent here that not all people get his jokes the same way they meant to revive. But love how Ricky still holds himself! ❤️
Ricky, you are super awesome! Thanks for the brutal honesty. I love it!
Everything he says after 8mins and 30 seconds is spot on.
Thanks
Then at 8mins and 31 seconds its back to spot off. Then at 8mins and 32 seconds its spot on. Then at 8mins 33 seconds its spot off. Then at... Oh @uck it.
Mr Gervais is very observant and I enjoy hearing his views on things. He speaks the truth.
Always interesting to hear Ricky Gervais share his good points. 👍🏼😊
I love his honesty!! 😘
