Aren't Turkish originally from the modern day's Russian Federation and specifically Siberia?
Where to apply for a Russian Wife >?
You're bought and paid for by the Russian government.

Will you be the one teaching? 😍
As i Russian living in US i worked for a Turkish company for 9 years in New York... Our boss was actually a Georgian/Jew/Turk (Born in Turkey) who only hired ex Soviets and Turks... That experience opened my eyes a lot and i can tell you for sure that Turks and Russians are almost the same in terms on mentality and food preferences :) Those 2 will get along just fine.
TURRKS AND RUSSIANS BELONG TOGETHER
Inshallah - Russians are more close to people from the steppe then to European Slavs.
Maybe Russia can be incorporated to other Turkish States like Kazakhstan or Azerbaijan.
that is what i tell russians in India. Go away from us we donot belong together
what about devout Russians and devout Turks? methinks they are not on the same sheet of music…
@@pashaofstuttgart It maybe a little hard to understand but Russia is half Muslim and Orhtodox Christianity, in both Russia and Turkey developed along side each other and share many traditions and values... Like Orthodox Christian women are supposed to cover their heads when they enter a Church the same as Muslims... Muslim traditions is not something shocking and foreign in Russia like it is in the west.
What a cute couple! He seems like a gentleman.
Turkiye is the most beautiful among all the countries I've travelled so far! Incredibly delicious food, spectacular landscape, rich history, awesome architecture, friendly people (language is a barrier though) have made it so unique! Lots of love for Turkiye from Australia. Hope I'll be there again!
Language: Not, if you are German. There are many Turkish people speaking German who went back from Germany or visiting familiy in Turkey. I was there with an American and he was surprised that I had no real problems talking with people there. He was used to find many people speaking English everywhere in Europe and this was a quite different situation for him. The people are wonderful in Turkey.
Land of traitors = Turkey.
Well I don't know about Turkish food.its looks good but not tasty..I have been turkey many times..and I could say Turkish food it's one of the worst I have ever had...and it is not only my opinion
@@bglonti9393 my cousin used to tell the same but changed his opinion after visiting restaurants I recommended. Restaurant with gorgeous interior and overpriced doesn't necessarily mean they are good. I discovered that was his problem, spending hundreds of dollars and getting angry every time on their food! 😊 Also they are not renowned for certain food like Biryani etc. If you try these food there, you might get frustrated. If you're after Biryani, try in Pakistan, India or Bangladesh. Just an example, that's how it is!
@@andrman1746 I did...many times many restaurants...I spent 3 years in turkey...their food is joke. ..no flavor no taste . flat.not only my opinion
My (American) family lived in Turkey before I was born. Unfortunately, I've never been, but there are few places I'd rather visit if given the opportunity. The food, the language, the culture, and the people are are so beautiful. I'm glad you get to travel there and I hope that one day I will be able to as well.
@@silverbear7767 The government there is sh*tty like almost everywhere else.
Yes. I travelled around a lot of Europe, but never got as far as Istanbul. The place seems like the ultimate mix of history and chaos making it full of life and culture.

If Eli's friends are indicative of the Turkish people with their hospitality and friendliness, I look forward to visiting Türkiye shortly. Lovely video. Thank you.
Мне довелось в прошлом году в Сибири поработать с турецкой строительной компанией. Очень приятно было работать с этими ребятами. Очень порядочные и хорошие люди. Турция привет вам из Сибири.
Maybe you are talking about Talos Construction, my niece and her boyfriend works there in Novosibirsk!!))

Wow Turkiye is so cool. The people make it special!!
I just went back from Turkiye earlier this month for my vacation. It was a wonderful experience. Turkiye is indeed a beautiful country, good people with rich culture and so many amazing places to go.
Salih definitely was dominating in this video. But you 3 just sealed my next holiday's deal by this video and so the new destination is now Istanbul.
What a lovely couple Anelya and Salih are. This was a really fun video.
Cheers from Vancouver, Canada.
what a horrible Russian orca, she should sign up for conscription....
Nice work,I enjoyed watching very much I haven't been to Turkiye since 2011 I need to stop working and visit Turkiye again,Cheers from Australia !!
I’ve been to Istanbul two times in 2019. I went to see my sister and her children live in her apartment, and I had a wonderful vacation with my family ❤️🇹🇷
I have been to Turkey 8+ times and love it! Culture, people, and food are all GREAT! Your friend is lovely and her Turkish husband seems very nice. My go to food after drinking in Turkey was a DONNER. Nice video.
I can understand why so many Russians love going to Turkey I guess for them it is like their Miami😊
Dubai more like MIami
Russians travel to Turkey as much, like Americans travel to South America, Caribbean and Mexico. Because it's very cheap and also it's a very beautiful country, language, hospitality, where it's safe and with a lot of hotels on the beach (like south of Turkey, Antalya/Alanya/Kemer/Fethyie/Oludeniz/Kas/Bodrum/Marmaris all these cities with everything included, food entertainment and alot of tours. Russians love to buy packages,, with all inclusive - (flight, hotel, tour and food) all for one price. That's why they keep coming back. Also a lot of them are buying out a lot of properties there, like (apartments and villas/houses), where they keep coming back each year. Almost like a vacation home. Plus they open there businesses and make money. i myself love Turkey, dreaming of buying an apartment there and retire, because my American Dollars will stretch very far in that country. I travel there almost every year, and it's always feel like, it's my first time there. And I started traveling there since 2013 and I keep coming back, I've traveled all of south of Turkey from Mersin - Cesme + Istanbul + Adana + Elazig. Rented a car for 10 days for $250. Amazing trip, will never forget. Turkey always in my heart.
Thank you very much Eli for this beautiful video. Istanbul and Turkey on the whole must be fantastic. I have never been to this country but I'd love to. Your friend is very happy to live there and her happiness is great. They are a nice couple! Wish you all the best.
Your friend and her husband took their time to show you the places worth visiting in Istanbul. The kindness of the Turks is unequaled.
We hope that the war will end between Russia and Ukraine as soon as possible; we like to see friendship and solidarity between people. Love and human feeling must prevail all over the planet.
I totally agree with you. Ellie's friend and her husband were very hospitable. It's a common trait in many parts of the world. One thing that every one of us should have as well when we have the time and the means. God willing.
Well when I lived in Istanbul I was living very near to a touristic area. And very often tourists missed the right bust station and they were coming to my street and get lost. And everytime when I was going to work I was checking the streets and bus stations to see if there are some confused tourists. I can speak english german and russian. I would ask them if they need help and most of the time I was taking them to my car and drive them to the right spot. I was reccomending them some stores and places to make shopping for local prices. Because in touristic shops prices are generally higher. I was like a volunteer tourism information service in my area. )))
@@darkprofile I think you’re a good person😌 thank you! I was in Istanbul a year ago and my map stopped working it’s shocked me but police helped me!
Hi Eli!
I watch your videos from time to time. This one made me really emotional. Originally I come from Poland, now I live in Canada. I've lived in Türkiye for three years in Istanbul before coming to Canada. This was great experience. There were other countries I visited but Türkiye is a special one. Your video is a short glimpse of exact reality of present life in Istanbul. Keep on finding new exciting people and places. I wish you luck! Будь здорова! 😊
Turkey is one of my top three favorite Country's that I have been to... Kas is beautiful...
Your friends are so delightful and Turkey has so many cultural and diverse areas . Don't go back to Russia Tartar princess . wait until the troubles are over . Summer on the Turkish beaches is wonderful .
Istanbul is one of most beautiful cities in the world
Every times i visit be as first time for me
Missing Türkiye more. The atmosphere is what makes me want to return lol
One of my most favorite cities in the world such an eclectic city with amazing history, great culture and friendly people. Turkish food is great and i just love the tea. The city is easy to get around as a tourist. I love the Kadikoy and Moda districts on the Asian side, but also Karakoy and Sultanahmet
As a Spanish speaker I woukld like to say that our name for the country (Turquía) has allways sounded like how the new name sounds.
Yes actually the name itself was historically given by Italian traders during the Ottoman Empire era. As Spanish is also a Latin language, the sounding is naturally expected to be similar.
same for Arabic
It's not the new name; it has always been called "Türkiye", it's just that the Anglos corrupted the pronunciation for the entire World.
I have seen clothing stores using the new official name on the label 'made in Türkiye' not only in Englisg but also French, German. I think initially, this only applied to English but is later chosen to apply to many other languages, because English, Turkey is both an animal and a country, but not other languages.
Another example i can remember is the word 'Peru' in portuguese. Again, it can refer to the country (Peru) or the animal (turkey)
Also we say İspanya in Turkish for Spain and it is identical to your own pronounciation España. Apparently, we all respect to each other's orginal namings except English speakers :D They change stuff a lot.
You'r Welcome in Türkiye.
I was 2017 in Russia ,in St Petersburg, a lovely City too...🙏❤️
Eli -- Good for you! My wife and I both fell in love with Turkey the times we were there. Istanbul is a wonder of a city! There is also so much to see outside of Istanbul. (Actually, the only part of turkey that we did not particularly care for was Ankara which we found to be charmless.) But everything else there is wonderful. The people are very nice. The food is delicious, The countryside is beautiful, the ancient Greek ruins are spectacular. Walking through the leftover ruins of Troy is awe-inspiring. At one point we became hopelessly lost walking around Istanbul, and a very nice lady walked way out of her way (the world before GPS) to help us back to a neighborhood we knew. If you enjoy it as we did, I hope you are able to get residency there.
Kingdom of cats, beautiful places and great musics 😍😍😍
I loved this video! Recently I fell in love with Turkish language ❤ hope visiting Istanbul soon
Thanks ELI if I can't see the WORLD myself it's nice to tag along YOUR FRIEND AND HER HUSBAND SEEMS REALLY NICE. Your friend has a very HAPPY PERSONALITY, SOMETHING THE WORLD NEEDS MORE OF. But I would have to say even though it is nice to see the world through your eyes, after watching the video, that was enough for me l took my sketch pad and went out into the WOODS AND I WILL BE SPENDING THE REST OF MY DAY OUT WHERE I FEEL MORE RELAXED AND COMFORTABLE, I SOMETIMES SPEND 1 OR 2 MONTHS WITHOUT TALKING TO ANYONE, AND I AM SURPRISED I DIDN'T THINK I WOULD LIKE MYSELF THAT MUCH. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND PLEASE HAVE FUN, LOVE AND GOOD HEALTH AND HAPPINESS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

Much love to you and your friends Eli and you are right we do need more love in this world, love of people, of cultures, and this wonderful planet that gave us life, much love from all the way in the Uk 🇬🇧
I love to see them laughing so much. Istanbul also looks so much more prosperous than Hawaii, where I live, that I am a envious. As always Eli, I love your channel.
This is video is a masterpiece because it shows the Turkish culture at his most intimate combined with a sincere vlog travel video and a love story. 🇹🇷❤🇷🇺❤🇻🇪
Eli is not welcomed to Turkiye because she's pro russian... Russian people can visit Turkey but people like Eli who is not Russian but behaving like pro russian are not welcomed. Eli made so many videos about nations in Russia but she never said that majority of nations are belong to Turk race.. She never said that majority of languages and dialects are Turkic(Turanian)... She behaves like what her pro soviet boss desires. She's Tatar so Turkic too but we Turks called people like him as MANKURT means Idiot wolf... Wolf is symbol for Turks according to myth Turks were reborn from shewolf.
The end of video with the music was so emational 😢❤
The best-educated video about Turkey. Thank you for sharing these awesome experiences with us.
clearly you haven't seen many video's of Turkey, this Russian RAT should go home for conscription

Never been to Turkiye, but from what I see here, it's a beautiful and lovely place to live.
Thanks again for the video.
I have been in a vacation tour in south coast of Turkey once, and I really like Turkey since that times. This year I was actually lucky to visit Istanbul. Very charming city, so bright and alive. Loud, hurrying, full of energy and never sleeping like Moscow, but much more colorful. I stayed there for a week just walking around, breathing it. Hope to come there for a vacation again :)
Thank you once again for another magnificent video showing us cities and customs of the world. If it weren't for your video's, we would never see these wonderful locations.

I was stationed in Karamursel, Turkiye while in the Air Force during the 1960's. I very much enjoyed each three day trip via ferry ride to Istanbul for drinking, eating, seeing belly dancing, more drinking, some sight seeing, and returning via ferry ride drinking chai/tea atop the ferry. Those were good days for this ole' coot/old dude. I hope Turkiye and the U.S. has long lasting good relations politically as I had a good experience and liked the Turkish people and loved Istanbul. btw, your girlfriend sure is a 'laugher.'
We like American people but not the government....because your country has been helping the enemies of Türkiye in Syria and Iraq

Thank you Eli. I love Istanbul and hope to visit one day. Especially to experience the Hagia Sophia. The food looks amazing. So many dishes in one meal.
The Hagia Sophia is grossly over rated. You ascend a ramp then look up at the dome. Very underwhelming and plenty of Turkish hawkers will harass you while the authorities look the other way. Tourist brochures are not to be trusted.
