The amount of talent on that stage is absolutely amazing.
Yep. Arjen only gets the best of the best.
The genius himself on stage, singing with an assembly of the greatest vocal talent ever assembled. Talk about checking your ego at the door ... humility seems to be a common trait in those chosen by Arjen to contribute to his works. There are all kinds of rabbit holes in art ... but few pay off as richly as Nightwish and Ayreon.
There's something to be said about sibling harmonies - Floor and Irene, both have been members of the Ayreon/Star One projects many times and for a long time. Arjen was the one pushing Floor to experiment with her hermonies when she was only 17. Then, little sister Irene joined in with Floor on Star One projects. Every piece from the Universe concert can be reacted to - you'll get a number of very nice surprises - Go for it.

The sheer amount of talent on that stage at the end is stupefying! And I love hearing Marcelo Bovio's voice ringing out above them all!
Thank you for this very special one! I just love seeing Floor and Irene on stage together! Irene also has an amazing voice. I'm sure you recognized Marko. Besides the faces you already know, there's a multitude of talent on that stage that you could check out at some point. I'll see two of them this week. The day after tomorrow Anneke van Giersbergen in Utrecht, NL and the next day I'll be in Prague to see Nightwish's last show of the European leg of their world tour. And I can't wait for Ayreon in Sep 23!

This song is a tribute to the "Stargate" movie 1994 (An interstellar teleportation device, found in Egypt, leads to a planet with humans resembling ancient Egyptians who worship the god Ra.).
Huge Stargate fan here by the way 😁!
And this song is from Arjen's another projects called "Star One". there are 3 of them now , they are not concept albums , but tributes to many different Sci-fi movies and TV-shows

Seeing Floor standing between Irene and Arjen has the odd effect of making her appear to be of average height.
Yes, Irene is a bit taller than Floor and Arjen's height is way up in the clouds LOL!

Live version of Star One project from 2003 is great too… very young Jansen sisters as backing vocalists are amazing… that show is available in CZcams, not great video quality but the sound is quite good

This song is about the movie "Stargate". They need the 7th sign in the stargate combination to get back to earth.
technically this isn't a Ayreon song, this is from one of his other projects Star One where he makes songs about old SciFi movies and tv shows.
I recomend you to react to Ayreon's "Valley of the Queens", soft, acoustic, awesome song and the vocalist are amazing. Cheers!!!
This one just gets me, I think cos of the epic ending! I can hear certain singers. Watching some of the performers really going for it like there's no tomorrow. So good
The symbol of the Eye of Ra (and the while story of the song) are based on the the movie Stargate (and it's long running TV shows Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis and Stargate Universe.) Just this month Amazon confirmed there will be a new show (and movies) in the franchise probably from 2024.
Music is hard to put into words. It is a universe on its own, and Arjen has slowly honed the skill of building worlds made of wiggly air. He has explored these dimensions for quite some time and is an excellent tour guide.
It's perfect to close your eyes to in bed and go on a journey like no other. It also has something to offer for every stage in life we might find ourselves in, and hopefully prevent some of them from occurring.
Hey buddy, at 5:43 the blonde singer in the white top is named Anneke van Giersbergen. She’s collaborated with Devin Townsend many times and definitely worth checking out. Grace, Hyperdrive! and Rejoice are 3 of many great songs they’ve done together.
This song is pretty sweet too! The combination of the amazing singers, tight musicians, loud audience, and everyone looking like they’re actually having fun playing is awesome
