It’s Now Time to Buy a Used Chevrolet Corvette C8!

- 👋 In todays video we talk about the Chevrolet Corvette C8 and how they are now finally available and well under MSRP! A little history into why I am making this video first!!
Back in 2019, I sold my Audi R8 while putting in an order for a 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8! I was going with a 2LT, Z51 with a front end lift! The MSRP which I was going to be paying with zero markups, was right around $85K!
It's funny too because while the C8 starts around $59K, everything thought you could buy one for low $60's, but if you actually sit down and put in a few options to make the car enjoyable, the Corvette C8 was never going to be under $70k, I'd even say no less than $75K. No one is buying a bare bones C8!
So I put in my order and after 1.5 years of waiting, I decided to take my deposit back. After I did that and Corvette C8 deliveries started to happen, people were spending a ridiculous amount well over MSRP to buy one because dealers didn't have them, and if you wanted one, that meant someone was selling theres already to make a good profit! In hindsight, I could have made a good chunk had I kept mine!
But now after four model years, Chevrolet dealers finally have a stock of inventory so you can actually go to the dealer and purchase one right off the lot! As far as prices go, used Chevrolet Corvette C8's are going for well under MSRP with a few thousand miles or more!
It's been an interesting release for the Chevrolet Corvette C8 and I've started to see them almost everywhere now because of the availability!

Having a C8 also you will be disappointed coming from the GTR I'm hoping your keeping the GTR. As you will definitely regret it.

@@sugadre123 start around $60K, but pretty much every C8 is in the $75-90K range depending on trim and options.

Keep GR Supra manual or trade for c8? Love the looks on the c8
Tough choice! Both are great cars for sure! C8 is definitely more exotic and has a nicer interior. Supra can be made faster with a tune tho and the manual is a blast!
Keep Supra more reliable than a C8 and won’t have transmissions issues
How reliable is it ? Did you experience problems with transmission?
They seems decent. A few build quality issues pop up buy I haven't seen running issues

Yeah it has the look. But the Z06 is the one thats actually a supercar. This is a nice sportscar

Not too sure. I haven't kept up with much of the issues with these cars. I'm sure some C8 forums and FB groups might have good info on the best years to buy

Yeah now with the Z06 more redly available and the announcement of the ZR1. I think the Stingray will be an easy option to get a good price

The hype is over people are getting rid of them now. It’s a 17k for sale on auto trader. I’m going lc 500 Lexus for better return on my money

@@BrosFOURRSpeed as a car builder where do i start? Dash, lt3 leather bubbling. Brakes squeal non stop. Rockers tap like crazy, had to blast mediocre stereo to survive. Nasty inferior dual clutch. Shifts like an old GM from the 80s. Horrific interior divider. (side car motorcycle passenger seat). Worst seats I've ever sat in my entire life. Carbon fiber competion that crack as you move. Oh, passenger seat belt doesnt work correctly, god forbid anyone sits in that coffin. Radiators destroyed by rocks. Paint coming off bumper. Horrid quality leather on dumb flat steerin wheel that is peeling and coming apart behind cheap paddle shifters. A Kona N exhaust is louder inside the car!!! No wireless android auto on a 2020??? Are you serious???? About the only thing this pos does right is corner decently and go fast (supposedly). I personally think the Hellcat is faster. That engine cover alone is embarrasing and when it gets wet looks worse. Consumer Reports claims 10/10. WHHHHHHHHHHHHAAATTTTT??!?!?!? You Corvette folks are nuts this thing is a pile of crap. The c8 is going to age as bad as a crossfire Vette in the future. $600 on craigslist 20 years from now. Want to see build quality? For that price get in a Lexus LC 500.

I was going to buy one and have been in several, very nice all around, great car for the money.. very similar quality to an LC500, I’ve been in that as well, so not sure how you don’t see that, but buy what you’ll enjoy, clearly it’s not this..
