When the E and ZR come out, these will all drop like a brick except the ZO6.. The base models are going to plummet. Wait a year and you can buy a nice one cheap..
I wouldn't be to worried about a 3 or 4 year old Corvette with 2 or even 3 owners. Maybe the first owner bought it at or near MSRP. Drove it for a while and seen that he can make 40k or so selling it. 2nd owner had FOMO so he bought it used drove it for a short time and sold it for whatever reason. Maybe they didn't really have the money or seen the market dropping and decided to sell it. 3rd bought it with only a 20k or 30k mark-up, now they are trying to get rid of it because they see how the economy is going.
I looked up a used C8 with clean record and the best I could come up with was a $63K 2021 1LT with 16K miles. The lowest new C8 is a 2023 1LT at MSRP ($67K) that has been sitting on the lot for 6 months.
Great video. But next year C8s will be at the best prices. So many lots still trying to get rid of used C7 and C6 lol. Be patient is the key. C8s like all other vettes will be all over the place and just become another corvette in the streets. The illusion of the exotic appeal is fading quickly for many.
@@y2j1490yahoo i had a 2011 C6. Base model. I enjoyed it. The engine dropped a valve at 55k. I got rid of it with 80k. What makes you say the c8 isn't as good as the c6 and c7?
Yeah accounting the miles you are probably right. Closer to mid 70s. People were throwing money at anything that was available 'right now'. Was. Bananas.
Speaking as a CPA, blame that on inflation mainly caused by the government's massive spending and Federal Reserve's monetary policies. Inflation is a hidden tax and literal theft by government through intentional devaluation of the currency and as a result, citizens' purchasing power. Therefore, the Federal Reserve's inflation target should be 0%, not 2%+ CPI. Anything more than 0% is theft by the government from the people. Not to mention, "2% CPI" is really 5%+ true inflation if you use an independent measure of inflation like Truflation or ShadowStats rather than the government's artificial CPI. The government's CPI metric is intentionally designed to leave out certain baskets of goods and services that Americans spend their money on, and disgraceful "hedonic quality adjustments" because it benefits government to underreport true inflation (to lower the real costs of paying huge government debt, and to limit increases to government payouts like social security).@@VetOnVettes
I put a 7 year and 70k mile GM extension warranty on my purchased new 2020 c8 z51 fe4 1LT and honestly this offers supercar levels of performance and driving experience. Warranty that runs to 2030 and 93k miles and transfers to the next owner for $75 for this sports car. The 1LT interior is far from a stripper and in my opinion offers nice luxury sports car interior. Only corvette geeks think the 2 or 3LT interior is a must have. JMO get the car. It’s a blast up in the mountains and as a daily driver.
Has been deemed a total loss by the insurance company. Meaning the repairs are beyond the value of the vehicle. A lot of times people will buy the salvage vehicles for pennies on the dollar and repair them. However, they tend to never quite drive right and body panels have gaps etc.
Bro...seriously....you all need to stop looking at this as an investment. It is not. Cars should never be an investment. Especially a 2 seater. Any 2 seater. It is for fun and deprecating value. Wether you "fund" for it or not. No matter what car you pick. Dude. Enjoy ur car man. If you dont. Sell it and move on ...maybe name urself......vettes on GT3RS? I mean dude...it hard to watch....in this climate.....its hard. Corvette dude really thought they had it....and they had it. But how in the world did you think it would last....dude...my man....I have a shoulder for you...just not mine....mine is busy busy buying a corvette 6k below MSRP.....and it is only going to get worse from here.

Your CZcams setup is legit. Nice office.
Thanks man!
You can find a 2024 Corvette under Msrp today. I see a few $6000 below Msrp in Michigan and their starting t pile up on sme dealerships.
Prices are coming down for sure. I saw a new one last night, 24 convertible, 1 lt, for 4k off msrp in Charlotte, NC.

C7 and C6 are better cars.

A car with a salvage title and no accident damage is probably a theft recovery.
That's a very high probability. Good point. 👌👍
Is that a good buy then?
The prices are still about the same. Last year high mile cars were $20k low miles and no mods are $28k or more.
I don't agree that that C8 with 41k miles wouldve have been $85k a couple years ago. You're disregarding the high miles for the year.

What does salvaged title mean?

The C8 Looks like a baby shark and is too low to the ground for me. That C-7 was the last best model which sjowed size and muscle for a street car

Wrong, all companies are going electric, in the near future, when cars make no noise and have no soul, cars like this one will spike up in price

Isn’t that going to be like 10-15 years around 2035-2040..
The C8 looks like shit it doesn't look like a Corvette 😂😂😂 I'll stick with the C7 ZO6
