Overall comparing the A7ii and the A6300 which is your preferred camera? Is there a step up in IQ for using an a7ii. I have already bought an a6300 and still trying to learn the features (coming from a nikon shooter). I had to flip a coin to decide for the a6300.

+jungleboy1 A7II is using the A7 sensor, it's old. The AF is also a little lacking. A6300 is a mini A7RII, if you want full frame A7RII is the way to go, but unless you really need it, keep the A6300 and invest in glass.

I've already started with the 18-105 sony G lens. If this system is supported enough ill start to get more lenses, but it depends if sony is willing to make more lenses. Its very limiting at this time. I went with samsung originally as a mirrorless system but i just noticed that they have discontinued their cameras. I hope sony dont do the same.

You could always use Full Frame lenses on the A6300. Does increase size though, but 18-105 is big anyway.
