This is so annoying. I refuse to accept that this is cannot be resolved. Why is it that I never notice any judders on videos filed with phones on social media but all the expensive "high end" equipment makes panning look so terrible.

60fps is the best but there are still some stutters at all shutter speeds. Watching at 4K looks much worse than at 1080p. So far I have not seen a satisfying explanation to the stutter problem and how to solve it. If I look up "stats for nerds" (right mouseclick) I see under viewport/frames that the resolution is considerably less than 1080p and that many frames are dropped when watching. Maybe the dropping of frames causes the stuttering. The stuttering problem on CZcams clips is huge and so far nobody has come up with an explanation that makes sense. The best clips are at 60fps, any other framerates are crap, in particular 24fps. But some die-hard self proclaimed video-experts keep claiming that 24fps is the holy grail because it looks cinematic. Maybe their understanding of cinematic means horrible stutter when panning.

For the A7 IV menu, it's Photos tab, click on (7) Shutter/Silent, and then e-Front curtain shut is in that menu

Hi buddy idk if you will respond after yearsof upload but i'm thinking to upgrade to ff i have sony a6300 with sigma 30mm f1.4 and 16mm f1.4 but i would love a zoom my love is the a7iii but it is 2x the price of the a7ii... i would buy the tamaron 28-75 covers all my range and would give me a look of f1.8 on aps-c with it ff f2.8 so enough bokeh for me at all range. If i would sell my a6300 kit and put some to it i could get the a7ii with tamaron but i need the af to be on point i shoot portrait most of the times some times i would like weddings too i did one with my a6300 af was on point how much worse is the a7ii af and battery for photos only? Thanks!
