In indonesia, many logos like that especially traditional genre (indonesia breakbeat, funkot, jungle duch and many more), where some logos use FL studio's logos in their logos

Can you do a tutorial on how to make logos for the dj enterprise I'm looking into making one.
My personal recommendation is spend money to get it professionally done. If you’re not a graphic designer you won’t end up with a good product by doing it yourself. Consider the money an investment into your brand
You can do it yourself with picsart if u got a bunch of fonts…i made a simple logo using the gi joe font

My opinion (not like you asked, but I’ll offer it anyways lol) either go all the way with the Star Wars theme or don’t do it at all. Me personally, I like the idea of having your own brand and not biting someone else’s. Keep grinding

There’s a lot of great info on the web about how to trademark and copyright. It’s a pretty straight forward process.

I saw the whole video.
On Javi Star's logo you said get rid of the waveforms which I agree but you also said get rid of the DJ "we get it, we know you're a dj". But that only leaves him with Javi Star and the star logo which says nothing about what he is. Yeah if he hands a business card to someone with only what you recommended, they'll know he's a dj right then but maybe not later. Or if someone just happens to come across his business card somewhere with just what you recommended there's nothing that says he's a dj.

I feel some of these DJs may have designed their own logos. I’d leave the cooking to the chef, the wood to the carpenter. The music to the DJ! Designers will help your services, not hinder them. Sincerely, OG GD

I don’t think he was really roasting. He could have really gone in on some of these if he was. I think he was putting out valuable knowledge. Some of the stuff was clearly his opinion because there were some that he liked that I thought were awful, but overall he seems very dialed in with design and trends

110% disagree. You want to know what the company is at 1st glance. For example "DNA Productions" Idk what the hell that is. If I seen that driving by or on a vehicle I'd have to Google it but I might have no reason to do so if I didn't know what it was. If It was obviously a dj service and I needed a dj coming up for something or thought they seemed cool I'd look them up if I knew it was a dj company but just that logo says nothing about what they do. They could produce sonic toothbrushes for all I know. You're expecting people to already know what you do or who you are. That doesn't help at all advertising. You legit just want people to have a basic font, flat, no design or anything. Smh. I don't get it.
If your handing out a card at a gig, you’ve most likely been asked. If your handing it out elsewhere, your selling your services. Music related, sure. But subtle works best. Unless they pick your card up from the floor, they no what you do!

Trying it out both ways, you definitely need to specify that your a dj. Most of the logos you liked could’ve been for a random company that has nothing to do with djing…
