South Korea's Population Crisis

It's not just diet. In America, healthcare costs an arm and a leg so most people who would like to seek care would not because they don't want to go bankrupt from 1 overnight stay.
An ancient Chinese official that visited Japan like 2K yrs ago wrote that Japanese people lived long, like over 80, so it has been like that on the island since the dawn of time.
The average lifespan of a Japanese man is 81, women is 87. A big difference.
The Japanese food you see outside of Japan are usually extra large compared to the same thing that you'd get in Japan.
even the food that sumo eat are healthy
There's also the fact that we are so used to high flavoured, full of sugar and salt foods that we don't DARE to eat it otherwise. Like you pointed, its a matter of habit as well 😅.
Exactly!
Dude i just had Denny's in the Philippines and it looks like the US one but 3x smaller 🤦🏻♂️
Bro my Grandma is 97 and shes black. Its all about diet, exercise, herbs, yoga and meditation and you good. You dont need to live on drugs.
Thank you! Love your videos!
Glad you like them!
The bottom line, they have good genes. They eat 5 pounds of rice per day, and more noodles that are freshly made with gluten.
It helps when you have a healthy lifestyle, no bills to worry about and world class healthcare.
I love how you always show positive AND negative aspects of things. this format is so instructive and I LOVE IT !!
My 4 reasons: Number 1: Universal health care. Accessible preventive medicine (endoscopy, ultra sound, MRI, blood test , etc) to detect disease at early curable stage. Number 2: low drug usage. Number 3: rare incidence of gun related deaths. Number 4: lower reliance on cars obliging people to walk more..... All quite unamerican....
Their public transit is great, unlike America. It is near impossible to get to work from anywhere in California due to urban sprawl and zoning with just walking.
Good times Uptin. Love the vlogcast.
The best! More to come 👌🏽
same thing with Philippines old people, they don't like eating fast food and they just want to cook at home. mostly fish veggies and healthy foods
Love your report.
Hamburg steak is not a Hamburger so this false equivalent and you can order fry's bread and hamburg steak and recreate the same meal at Denny plus they have good desserts there. Also plenty of dedicated burger places in Japan.
Always great videos big up bro
Appreciate that
Watching your videos Uptin increases my life expectency 😀 Great job
Thank you so much 😀
Very interesting. Thank you for sharing.
So nice of you! Glad you enjoyed 🎉
Tried traditional American fast food at a Japanese stall once, it was the blandest & least grease fast food I've ever eaten, I even ordered more because I was still hungry xD
@ceeril you sound crazy, asians eat rats literally and all kind of things that are not conducive to the human body
I love your videos Uptin!
Thank you so much!
Uptin is a good video. You deserve more subs
Omg food in Japan is so clean it feels like
Right?? It’s so organic and clean people can eat raw eggs 🤯🤯
Ty for the video, it’s a great analysis, I like to point out additional reason is their national insurance is really good too, the govt paid 70% the bills that they got sick and consulted the doctor ,the pharmacies, the operations so on, that makes ppl way more less stressful in terms of finances
Imagine how long they would live if they didn't live so stressful.
FR, they'd make it to the thousands💀💀
2 years if we go by Monaco data, barely worth mentioning, 90 is probably tops with current intervention.
@@southcoastinventors6583 could be much higher, remember Japanese people have a higher frequency of long life genes so theoretically their limit would be much higher that the average Mona can.
According to UN 2023 data, the top countries/ regions with longest life expectancy is 1) Monaco, 2) Hong Kong, 3) Macau, 4) Japan... 😊
Just for your information, the food first appears is the food called "Hamburg", which is a different food from "Hamburger".
Kind of amazed he needs to lie about food items to make it point can easily do it without misleading content
@@southcoastinventors6583 no I think he just doesn't know the difference.
I love japan...☺
Japan is very nice country
It truly is
Hey uptin, are you Iranian?
Awesome video's and great information..!!! Many Thanks
Appreciate your support!
South Korea do smaller portions too. Smaller portions should cost less too
Yess could definitely contribute!
I see Hong Kong is the top list of the longest life span and longevity!
Japanese diet isn't as healthy as many believe but it's not 'unhealthy'. Then add in the smaller portions they eat, those two factors go a long way!
@@user-hh2rw7vu6b No idea what means.
You'll live longer if your life is low stress and more chill. I would avoid all the fast food in the states.
they live long because they drink good matcha.
‘nuff said.
why do i feel like the genetic doing the heavy lifting there 🤣
Wonderful Im hungry for more 🍔🍟
More to come!
Very nice ❤
The longest life is Hong Kong
no seed oils
♥️
Glad you enjoyed!
The Greeks and Korean are also doing it. Just as well if not better?
My Mother live to 96 and her sister made it to 99
The suicide rate in Japan is pretty high as well. They need all the stress reduction they can get.
That's fine too, just keeping in mind that Ai & Robotics are here. So, jobs and work is actually going away.
Anericano are hardcore steak eaters
Didn't think I'd make it to 30. Hurtling towards 40. Life expectancy: "live to fight another day".
Yes it's diet but also they walk a lot. Not sure about the other generalisations though, you need to be there for a while to understand.
Yeah. The Japanese work culture is drinking every friday after work ends and casual smoking. Supermarket's full of processed food like instant noodles and snacks like potato chips. Prices of vegetables and fruits are really high. People go to izakayas and order tons of beer, highballs and grilled meats.
I'm not really sure if the average Japanese diet is that healthy. Maybe the traditional diet of fish, soy and rice is but things have changed.
@@wetyewruyrtsutrdhjfg but you don’t see many chubbies like other countries.
Except for sumo wrestlers.
Red meat and saturated fat aren't unhealthy. That is sugar industry propaganda. But good video either way.
Japanese like to work? I think like in Singapore, us mature citizen, we have to work to make ends meet. 😥
No japan is even not as long as usa ... Japan work long hours is just a myth 😂😂
I think the longest living average is Hong Kong
You’re right actually, take a look at the chart in 7:41
@@kenyup7936 oops yea I didn't finish the whole video hehe
Hong Kong is not a country anymore and Monaco beats all at 87.01 not sure why it neglected
Well USA is not the most but ok lets continue
You live alot shorter in the the states, But what a way to live, Why would you want to live longer by eaten stuff you don't like or enjoy, life it's short eat what you like
Really depends where you live and wealth level
1. Hawaii 80.7
2. Minnesota 79.1
3. Vermont 78.8
4. Washington 79.2
5. New Hampshire 79
6. Utah 78.6
7. Colorado 78.3
8. Massachusetts 79
9. California 79
10. Oregon 78.8
50. Mississippi 71.9
they live the longest...its just that they do not want have babies anymore so that is NOT ok.
Japanese cuisine is famous with small dishes to eat little and most food is cooked by water and little by oil or ghee
I just wish the situation with their food diet and lifestyle remains intact cause the younger generation is there to destroy the good things unfortunately
Americans consume lots of sugar, salt, high cholesterol food, lots of meat.
Nice 👍
because they eat nuclear😂
The title of this video is not true. Foundational Black Americans live very long.
First one isn’t so accurate, Japanese do eat hamburgers and fries. And I would say I like it more than some Americans. Even in some anime’s they depict characters loving it.
Also, US does not have the highest obesity rate in the world. We not far off than the UK. Not to mention it’s differ from each state, the South has the highest while most of other states have the lowest. Interesting, Asians have the lowest obesity rate and have the highest life expectancy. With the black and Hispanic population the reverse of them.
They definitely do not eat more burgers and fries than Americans lmfao.
@@shorthopdoublelasers4168 he did not say they eat more bugers and fries. re-read his comment.
i live in us my dad 95 my mom93 still strong not about what they eat .my granma 104 year oid
They are nuclear powered, lol jks
False title as Japan has one of the highest suicide rates in the world many younger generations don’t get married or have kids and end up being shut in’s (40 year old virgins) just because the live longer doesn’t mean there life is any better if anything it prolonged there agony before death
American food is just poor quality thats why Americans live shorter. Japanese food is healthier thats why they live longer also better lfiestyle
Simple, they don't let immigrants in. 😅😅😅
True, unlike the US , Canada, Australia, Japanese are racist at some point, ppl say no matter how you fluency Japanese you could speak, in their eyes you’re an outsider
First all the illegal European immigrant settlers in North America, South America, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa should go back to Europe . Then they can talk about others .
タイトルが日本語は、再生したくなくなる。英語にして欲しい😢
Bro do you have any problem with older people?
Just leave them.😂
NO THEY DO NOT INDIANS HV MORE PEOPLE WHO ARE 100 PLUS....
Lets be real here. Japan is pretty much a monoculture. America statistics in every category - health, education scores, violence, longevity, personal finance - is severely skewed by poor results among minorities. Especially blacks. If you took only the white population the statistics although not as favorable as Japan would be much more similar to Europe. So no one knows what to do about so many fat black people in the US which drives so many of the bad health statistics. But no one made them get fat. And claiming the BMI measure and various physical tests being "racist" is not going to fix the problem.
