    Might still be worth trying to use one of those products that people use to polish up the rear lights, especially as you’ve got nothing to lose now you have those nice shiny ones.

      Great idea. When it comes to fit the new lights I'll polish up the old units and compare them.

    You got the same light covers. Why didn’t you just clean up old light covers instead of buying the same thing? 😮Just asking.

      Thanks for the comment. Yes it's a bit odd isn't it. The rear passenger side lamp (aftermarket) has been replaced but distorted due to being bolted onto a bent panel. The drivers side is just old. All I wanted was a matched pair. I'm going to still clean/polish the old lamps as I'm interested how well they come out?
