Cool dude.. my first Metal detector is a Bounty Hunter 2200 which still works very good. Found lots of coins with it! Bought it used for 70 bucks several years ago! Love Lake Michigan! Good work sir Thanks much ✌️PT
Me and my family have actually looked for Yooperlite and were successful and they're incredible, we actually found 2 the size or even bigger than the one you found, although yours shines so much brighter which I find cooler! Also metal detecting is my favorite hobby, so it's cool to know that other people in wisconsin love metal detecting too! I just got a garrett ace apex for my birthday and am still getting used to it.
@@wisconsingoldrush8270 Last night I bought a couple of the uv black lights after watching your video, I want to see if there is any around the rock river just for the heck of it lol

Just getting into prospecting myself. Based right outside of Madison. Yooperlite is on my list to find. Thanks for the cool videos and positive attitude!
Well, welcome to the community! Just some yooperlight advice to aide your success: The yooperlights glow super well with 365nm UV (black light). They do not glow well with 395nm black lights. You will find them much better with the 365nm. Hope this helps!
@@wisconsingoldrush8270 I don't have a channel..But thanks for the thought. I don't have the guts to do what you do...On the yooper rocks..Yours are like striped looking the ones we have found in Lake Superior are either almost solid when you hit them with the light or speckled all over.
Hello, I saw you at Larsen Prospecting. A wonderful Yooperlite. Very beautiful video. I am looking for gold in Germany I subscribe to your channel. Greetings from Germany 👍🏻
Big gritty flakes but no more nuggets in the other three buckets. But i only swirled them back quick for the camera. Ill repan it all carefully to see whats truly there...
as what i have read in your comment section..YOOPERLITE is $35 perpound thats a lot of money with that size you had found...can i find YOOPERLITE here in the PHILIPPINES ?..I like that big CAT ..THANK YOU very much brother
@@tubigdanumchannel I don't really know if you could find Yooperlite down there, I heard that Yooperlite is sodalite that was carried down to wisconsin through the glaciers that happened a long time a go. I've never heard of Yooperlite being found anywhere else but while I was in utah I found that regular sodalite glows green, if you can find sodalite in the philippines you'll have yourself a glowing green rock.

Thanks for swinging by again!
That's the biggest yooperlite I've seen. Practically a boulder.
It was sure heavy! I was super excited to see orange on the whole thing. Sometimes only part of the rock glows...
Awesome find but use a filtered 365nm light and scan super slow in a sweeping motion along the beach
I've got a pile of of those rocks from Lake Superior because my wife and son are rock hounds.
I wonder how far south they have been found. I will have to research to see if anyone has found one further south than Milwaukee
@@wisconsingoldrush8270 I'll be trying to find some in Kenosha this summer.

Awesome video! Was it heavy or was the yooperlite?
It was medium potato sized. Weighs about the same as granite. But I forgot to throw it on a scale
Thanks for the video, are the yooperlites worth anything.
I think they sell online for about $35/pound

Gonna order a couple of the little uv lights.
Nice! Gotta get the 365nm wavelength, not the 395
The 395 nanometer emits lots of extra purple light and it doesn't make the Rocks glow barely at all. The 365 makes them pop like fire
I think I saw one @10:36
isn't it just wonderful that so many people use the lovely beach to discard their garbage?😡
My 7 year old son would love this, do you sell paydirt?
I don't have one for sale yet but that would be fun if I found enough Wi gold for that!
If you ever find enough, I'd love to buy one
I don't metal detect much anymore im sick of digging garbage
